Enjoy a clean, luxury home in quiet Pheasant Cove, tucked in the marsh within 2 minutes of historic Rte. 6A. I'm happy to share our special home with people looking to have a memorable Cape Cod experience. Many of our guests have become repeat guests, saying that the photos don't do the home justice!
My family and I vacationed in Yarmouthport every summer for over 40 years. It's centrally located and this spot off of 6A was long a favorite of ours--near our favorite beaches on the Cape (Mayflower, Chapin, Bass River, Corporation, etc), but also off a quaint stretch of Rte 6a featuring landmarks that have been there for years-- galleries, general stores, bed and breakfasts, wonderful restaurants, and a quiet energy during all seasons, with yard sales, art shows and pie sales dotting the way. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!
This home is unlike many summer rentals...in addition to being well maintained and spacious, it is well appointed; we view it more as a summer vacation home than a rental property. The home is very spacious, with 3 living levels and all the amenities you'd want, including some games for kids, a NordicTrak and older rowing machine, and exercise ball, and yard games and a relaxing hammock. The neighborhood is peaceful and populated with nice folks, most of whom live there year-round. Plus we're a short walk away from hiking trails, conservation land, Gray's Beach and the lovely marsh with beautiful sunset views. Come chill your wine in the wine chiller, watch the sunset over the marsh, and put some food on the grill and relax in the sunroom overlooking the private back yard with blue lace hydrangea, a Japanese maple, several rhodies and watch the birds.
Small hiking trails are within a 2 minute walk in several directions, neighborhood overlooks Great Marsh and is a 1 minute drive to Gray's beach and the boardwalk. A hammock and chimenea are located in the back yard for your enjoyment. Bocce set on site- not court, but a hard-packed area in back yard to play.Check out the BassRiver cruises to learn history and see great waterfront homes.
