Probably should have researched a bit more exactly how far house was from the beach. Didn't like having the busy street to cross so it was a must that we drive over every day and find parking, which didn't seem to be a problem. I did inquire and was told it was about 6 blocks and a ten minute walk, however. The house was very nice. Only thing we would have changed was making the entry floor bedroom with the adjoining bath have a king bed. Our children got to enjoy the balcony and having the bath connected to their room while I had to scamper across the hall occassionally making sure other parties weren't around, as we had 3 families staying last week. The property management was great. The gas went out and they had maintenance there within an hour and the problem was solved. Lastly, we've stayed at other places with golf packages, and the cart fee has always been included. We felt that $25 per person, my husband and 11 year old son having to spend $50 was a bit excessive for "free golf". Usually cart fees are pretty standard at $25 bucks a cart, not per person. Over all we enjoyed our stay, loved the house, the pool and hot tub as well as the area and the atmosphere. We would recommend it but probably would choose a house on the other side of Croatan our next visit to the Outer Banks:-) Thanks a bunch!
