La Joya de Yelapa consists of four cabins constructed in the style of an old Mexican Fishing village: wooden walls, palapa ceilings, brick floor, completely private and surrounded by a garden.The cabin comes with the necessary things for you to rest and enjoy your staying: two double beds with a reading lamp, a small kitchen with all tools you need to cook and eat, a fridge, blender, coffee maker, table and chairs, its own bathroom, hot water, electricity and a fan. Forget the noises in the cities and listen to the birds and the waves hitting the beach, watch the stars and the moon in a clear sky. La Joya de Yelapa is located on the beach a few steps from the water, with the Tuito River running to its side and the mountain on its back in this small town called Yelapa. Yelapa is an old charming Mexican village set in its own natural cove, 45 minutes by boat from Puerto Vallarta. This tiny village is a true escape from civilization.

Yelapa is a small fishing village, located in the banderas bay with a beach covered in a blanket of golden sand, with the Tuito river coming from the mountains of the great Mexican Sierra Madre. The only access to this place is by boat, so the unforgettable adventure begins with a water taxi ride along the coast of this beautiful bay called 'Banderas Bay' and which keeps this place as a beautiful private place to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay. In Yelapa you can go fishing and visit the Marietas island, take a horseback ride, walk up the river inside the mountain, diving, snorkeling, swimming or just lay down on the beach taking a sunbath.
