Gatlinburg Vacation Rental chalet

We have stayed at Sandy's wonderful home several times !! Our first visit was in December and the house was all decked out for Christmas!!! What a wonderful surprise! Once was in the spring,and the bear visited us every night!!! What fun and excitement! The home is always spotless and we enjoy the hot tub,fireplace, and sauna.The smokies has always been our favorite vacation spot and Sandy's home makes all the difference. We never get homesick for Ohio when we are here! Thank you, Sandy for being such a wonderful and gracious hostess!!!

We enjoyed our trip to the mountains and staying at Sandy’s place. This is my second visit here at Sandy's Chalet.

We rented the chalet for 2 weeks – my kids came down the first week with some friends and we arrived for the second week. My husband and my sister were here for the second week (my brother-in-law was suppose to come as well but he was stuck in China working.)

The kids were in the hot tub one eve around 6:00 and heard something and there was a black bear up in a tree looking at them while they enjoyed the hot tub. The bear visted several times while they were there along with a mom and her 2 cubs. The bear even decided to taste Sandy’s pumpkin decorations.

My daughter got engaged while here in the Mountains, so this will make this an even special place for her.

We enjoyed our time here as well. The drive up to the chalet is a long windy one, but in my opinion well worth the trip up. Once you get up here it is pretty amazing.

We had 5 different bear visit us and I think just about every night one at least one of them came by.

I have to agree with a previous comment I read in her guest book – God does show off up here in the mountains! No other way to describe it.

Can’t wait to come back, we love the house and oh what a great hostest Sandy is.

This is our second stay at Sandy's place, and it was just as great as the first. As other travelers have mentioned, the pictures do not do this chalet justice, the decor is lovely! We arrived around 4:30 on Sunday June 14th, and was found to have the cleaning couple still there cleaning. They apologized for running behind, were very nice, said, if there was anything we needed at all, or encountered any problems, to call Sandy, and they would handle whatever it was. Of course, there was nothing to call Sandy over. The chalet is immaculate! My kids and husband enjoyed the pool, and hot tub every night. We even built a fire on one of the more milder nights, and made smore's. We cooked out every night on the grills on the porch. I so enjoyed sitting out in the evening on the porch, enjoying the sounds of the birds, watching the fire flies. Thanks again Sandy for another wonderful stay!!!!
