TRAIL SIDE MOUNTAIN HOME, SKI IN/SKI OUT, HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE

The house was spacious with more than enough room for the seven of us (all adults)that made the trip. The location was quiet( except for the occassional early morning groomer) and private. It was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to stay an extra day since it was not booked in order to take advantage of 12" of new snow. Although the adjacent trail affords ski-in ski-out beware that the resort only runs this west mountain lift on weekends and holiday periods. Not much help for thouse of us who like to ski during the week when it is less crowded. The shuttle service is excellent and will take you anywhere within the resort complex. We enjoyed several nearby restaurants, Gepettos, Tufulios and the Homestead down in Farmington, where there is a real movie theater. We also did some skimobiling nearby. Be sure to reserve your machine(s) in advance. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. The skiing is great provided the winds cooperate and allow all the lifts to operate (wind holds are a chronic problem for this resort). Not much in the way of shopping or night life. I would certainly recommend this property if you need the room, like privacy, and can deal with the weather in order to enjoy the plentiful skiing terrain.
