We are located in the Puna Beach Palisades Subdivision, along the beautiful 'Red Road' coastline of southern Puna. A 5 minute walk takes you to the clothing optional black sand beach where the dolphins often frolic in the mornings. A 10 minute drive takes you to incredible snorkel ling at the tide pools, or lounge in the naturally heated geothermal pool!

We are located in the Puna Beach Palisades Subdivision, by Kehena Beach, (a clothing optional black sand beach) on the Big Island. From the HILO airport, it is a 45 minute drive south. LWW offers a view of the blue, blue Pacific Ocean. A rainbow almost every morning. What could be a better way to start your morning than swimming with the dolphins! (OK, first you have a fresh fruit smoothie.) Then walk to the beach and jump in.

  • $55.00 per night. $300.00 per week; a week is based on 6 nights / 7 days. $50.00 per nt after 7 nts
  • $100.00 cleaning/damage deposit cheerfully refunded if not needed.
    A Reservation Deposit of 50% of total is due upon booking. The balance is due upon arrival.
    Form of Payment in U.S. funds by mail: Traveler's Checks, Postal Money Orders, Bank money orders, or Cashiers checks. Cash accepted upon arrival.
  • Rates are based on single OR double occupancy. (child allowed if can sleep in king size bed with parents!)
    No hidden cleaning charges, however Please add a $25.00 linen/cleaning fee for any children under 10.
    Long term discounts negotiable.

Under the shade cover of a roof, you can kick back, relax and enjoy the splendor of the tropics with no walls to block your view of the ocean, jungle, and the 1955 lava flow we live on. Let it rain and still be outside!

R & R: Why stay locked up in a stuffy hotel when you can be a part of the scenery! Are you ready to leave the techno-mind-jolting-daily-grind, and live Simply, Slowly, in peace and quiet, surrounded by tropical beauty? 'Being able to live outdoors was exactly what we wanted out of our time in Hawaii, and being able to do it in total privacy was a blessing! It was SO ROMANTIC that shortly after we left you (literally the next day) my boyfriend proposed to me!' - a happy guest

Bugs?: Mosquitos? You may well wonder, and the answer is; sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on the tradewinds. We supply citronella candles, organic mosquito spray repellent (as well as the 'deet' kind), and those wonderfully smelly mozzy coils. I've not heard any complaints about them yet...only raves about the beautiful array of geckos that share your outdoor space!
