This lovely stone 1900's carriage house upstairs spacious apartment is beautifully decorated and conveniently located in the village of Woodstock. The one bedroom has a comfortable Stearns and Foster queen size bed. The living room has a pull out couch, 38 Inch color TV and cable, also a desk with wireless high speed internet access. A dining area with a table to accommodate four. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking and also has a washer and dryer. The full bath has a shower and tub. The carriage House is a one minute walk to the Woodstock Inn. Walking distance to Mount Tom, Woodstock Country Club, Mount Peg, Village restaurants and Shops and the fitness facility. Also it is conveniently close to Suicide Six, Killington, Okemo, Pico Peak. In the evening enjoy sitting by the river on the patio. Weekend rates are $350.00/weekend see rates for other rates. Weekend is Fri, Sat or Sun. Midweek is Mon-Thurs. $125.00nt. Also available through fall folliage a 3 bedroom 2 bath hom

Woodstock Vermont is to me, the most beautiful town in America. It is located 21/2 hours from Boston, 3 hours from Montreal, 4 hours from New York City. It is a very sporty town and you can enjoy many sports including skiing, skating, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, tennis, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, flyfishing, mountaineering, rock climbing, bird watching, gardening and the list goes on. Woodstock has many wonderful restaurants and shops. See the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce web site for more information. If you come to visit you probably won't want to leave.

Cozy In-town getaway

We enjoyed everything about the cozy apartment. The owners have furnished it beautifully and the bed is very comfortable. We most especially enjoyed the cool mornings (in July) to sit and drink coffee, listen to the water flowing by in the brook, and enjoy the "New England cottage" feel. It was a great place for a romantic getaway. We walked to all that we wanted to see in Woodstock! We will definitely come here again!

Great time at the Woodstock carriage house

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It feels like a little hideaway, even though it's centrally located, and I loved the view of the river. The apartment is beautifully maintained, and there are plenty of nice touches, like high quality sheets and towels, wi-fi, a hair dryer, soaps, a washer-dryer, dish washer, and extra pillows and blankets. It's a great value for the money.

My only criticisms are small: It would be helpful to have a more thorough information sheet on the table, listing the wi-fi password and other important info. And the front door could use a little attention, as it sticks. Other than that, I thought it was a perfect getaway.

Woodstock Village Carriage House

We had a great time in Vermont and the Carriage House contributed to that. It is just as described and a minute walk from the Woodstock Inn, the Green and "downtown" Woodstock. After one day it felt like home. Also, the Owner was very understanding and responsive when we locked ourselves out!
