There are great ocean-view hikes within a 15 minute drive.

Golf: The Links at Bodega Harbour is five minutes from Owl's Nest Retreat. This course is nothing short of stunning and was listed as a Golf Digest 10 Best Resort Courses. The first four holes take you up and away from the ocean in a true links-style layout. At the top of the course on the number 5 tee box you are truly 'King of the World' with a view unsurpassed in Bodega. You then make your way down towards the ocean on the remaining front holes. The back nine is wider and a little more gentle than the front, and on the finishing holes right next to the ocean you have waves right next to you on the other side of the sand dunes. Who cares if you miss a shot, the view makes everything worth it!
