Getting there:
Playa del Carmen is a 40-45 minute drive from Cancun Airport. If you choose to rent a car, we have secure indoor parking at the condo. Highway 307, south from Cancun, is a well-maintained four-lane route that takes you from Cancun directly to Playa del Carmen.
Transportation from the airport is also available by taxi, private and communal vans and by the local bus service.
The condo is located on 10th Avenue, between 30th and 32th street.
Things to do:
Spending the day at the beach is never a bad option, but Playa offers much more. Scuba diving and snorkeling in the area is world class and can be enjoyed by beginners and experienced divers alike. Cave (cenotes) divers are also very popular. Kayaking, parasailing and sport fishing are among the other water activities you can enjoy.
On land, there are several golf courses nearby and public tennis and basketball courts are located directly across the street from the condo. Horseback riding facilities can be found just off Highway 307, as you approach Playa.
Tour companies along 5th Avenue offer day trips to the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum, or you can take the local bus. You can also spend the day in Cozumel - ferries run hourly between Playa and the island.
Or you can simply stroll along 5th Avenue, where there are no shortage of stores, restaurants and bars to satisfy your every whim.
