Peaceful Log home getaway

If you are looking for a nice, peaceful getaway, this is the right place to be. Bruce the owner was very helpful and very nice with us. My kids had the best time. The Beach is like 3 minutes away, they had a blast. We will definitely go back and enjoy another week. Nights are just beautiful and peaceful. Property was clean and he provides a lot staff that we don't need to worry about bringing with us.

Couldn't Ask for anything more.....

Words can't express the peacefulness my guests', wife and myself experienced. I stayed in November for 3 nights for a birthday getaway with friends and my wife. Bruce ( Owner) had everything we need and more, from brochures, local attractions, maps, and a clean, spacious home. If anyone was looking for a great vacation home and away from it all, don't look any further, you'll not be disappointed. AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK!!!! Perfect for families, romantic getaway, or just a getaway. But I must say from day one to our last night, we had no problems,everything was just superb, except for the fact we had to go back to Chicago and leave this Hidden Getaway. Bruce you put a smile on my face, thanks for everything and you have a Beautiful Home.

A Definite Re-Rental

I must say that I was a little hesitant about staying a log home, but after having stayed in this home, it has completely changed my mind! This home was beautiful
and a completely different experience from staying in a traditional home. The location was perfect. Just a short 3 minute drive or average walk to beach on Lake Michigan! The home was very clean and organized. Bruce ( the owner ) was very helpful and patient with us and our needs. The home was everything it was explained to be and more. I would definitely recommend this home to almost anyone. Whether it is a couple wanting to have some alone time in a very nice quiet setting, with sunset walks on the beach or wine tasting or a family with children with trail hiking, horse back riding or fishing. This home is the right size and in the perfect location for any type of getaway. Dont forget to take a look up in the sky at night. The stars are breathtaking! The home has almost everything you need already there, so you really dont have to bring much at all. Just your weary bones, and come out and relax! Ahhhh, now this is vacation!

The owners were very nice and readily available when needed. The ad listed a dishwasher and ping pong table that were missing. I would recommend to a friend and I will return.
Very lovely interior! Rustic but very nice!
