Restful modest beach cottage

This cottage is a couple houses removed from the beach, so you can feel the cool breeze and hear waves all day and night, as well as see the water. The feel was very neighborly. It was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We stayed on the top floor, which could sleep 5 (2 queens and a single) and didn't use the downstairs at all, which seemed cool and slightly damp, but could sleep 4 others in bunks.
The deck off the back of the house was large, freshly painted and sunny, but our favorite was the porch area that overlooked the water.
The stairs to the upper floor were solid with good rails, so reasonable even for seniors. Owners were friendly and very helpful. Excellect customer service.
This cottage is a good base to see the cape, especially the area of Falmough and Woods Hole. We ate at a nice restaurant on the Falmouth Harbor, and visited the Woods Hole Exhibit Center. I would recommend both. We drove to the wider and flatter Old Silver Beach to swim, and walked the beach by the house to relax and look for shells.
I really enjoyed this little cottage, would definately recommend it to a friend, at least in the capacity that we used it. It is a very reasonable and relaxing way to feel like you live by the ocean for a few days.
