A Perfect Vacation with Friends

My husband, son (11 months), and I stayed at Luxury Poipu with our dear friends and their son (14 months) for just over a week. The layout of the condo was perfect for two small families since the bedrooms were separated by the large open living space. The accommodations were well thought out and even more beautiful than what was pictured on the website. The owner, Ashli, and Lisa, the property manager, have considered every detail, from plenty of linens and kitchen supplies, to travel-sized toiletries, and even ear plugs for the master suite if the sound of crashing waves is too much for a light sleeper. With the windows and doors closed, however, you could easily get a very quiet night's sleep. It definitely wasn't an issue for us! The ocean view, breezes, and sound of the waves were what made the condo the perfect spot for an absolute DREAM vacation! Even with both boys still taking 2 naps each day, we didn't feel like we were missing out on anything because the water was right there and the view was so incredible. If we wanted to enjoy the water while they were inside, we just took turns in the property's pool, which was just steps from the front door. In addition, we found lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. There was a baby beach just a short walk or drive away where the boys could play in the water and sand. The property itself was completely clean, up to date, and well-cared for. We found Lisa to be very responsive when we had questions, and Ashli was the most welcoming and easy to work with owner we've ever encountered. She even sent us a list of island activities to consider prior to our arrival. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and when we return to Kauai, we hope to rent Luxury Poipu again!
