Isle of Palms Vacation Rental house

We stayed at this house in May/June 2009 for my daughter's wedding at the Cidadel Beach House. This location was perfect!! (Only 1 block away!) We had 14 adult family members (ranging from 22 years old to 82 years old) as well as one 4 year old and 1 infant who stayed in the house. In addition, we had other family members dropping in throughout the week. We had plenty of room, both inside the house and on the decks. The pool got LOTS of use. The pool table and ping pong table were great, too!! We had wireless internet access although I don't believe it was listed in the description. We had televisions in most rooms, but who wanted to watch them with so many other fun activities to fill our days and evenings. The ocean views were wonderful!! The beach access could not have been any closer!!! The home was clean, however I don't think the term "Newly Renovated" is still appropriate. Everything was great and clean but not in "new" condition.
The one caution I would give is the home has lots of stairs and no elevator. If you have anyone in your group who cannot climb stairs, this house would definitely be problematic. Otherwise, this is the home for a perfect vacation on Isle of Palms!! Our only problem was the week passed much too quickly!

We had an active group of friends in town for a wedding in Charleston and this property suited us perfectly. From the spacious porches with beautiful ocean views, to the gorgeous golf courses right across the street -- this place had everything we were looking for. The pool table, ping pong table and swimming pool got plenty of use, and huge communal spaces served as great spots to bring everyone together. Not only that, but everyone had their own private bedrooms with their personal baths. Upon leaving this property, our group wanted to plan a yearly getaway to this place to recount fond memories... and create new ones.

P.S. Don't forget to stop by The Windjammer in the center of IOP. Our group had a blast there!

We rented this property for a family vacation over Thanksgiving. We had my wife and I, 4 adult children, 3 daugthers-in-laws, 4 grandchildren (15 years to 4 months), a total 13. The home is roomy and layed out well, the kitchen is complete and easy to use. The bedrooms met our needs, although the mattresses in most rooms need to be replaced. The view is wonderful, so close to the beach! It is easy to get to and has everything we needed within 4 or 5 miles. Very close to downtown Charleston. We had a great stay, although the pool heater didn't work, we still enjoyed the stay very much.
