Two story cottage with lots of charm. Spectacular views of Casco bay and outer ship channel. On it's own small private cove. Great sea glass! Fully furnished. Washer/dryer. dishwasher, micro., all linens, move-in condition. Cable TV. High speed internet connection. Last house on dead end private road. 10 min. from Portland and the turnpike. Lots of shopping nearby, great restaurants and area public beaches. 2 hours north of Boston. 35 min south of Freeport, ME. But with these views, you won't want to leave the cottage!!! This cottage was featured in the May 2007 guestbook section of Coastal Living Magazine!! Please, No smoking/no pets.

A wonderful getaway. From the moment we walked in the front door we knew we would not want to leave. This oceanfront cottage lived up to every word in the May, 2007 Coastal Living article (and much more). Everything was just perfect. It is beautifully decorated and meticulous. You feel immediately at home. To wake up in the morning to the beautiful sunrise and sounds of the ocean is heaven. We explored during the day but couldn't wait to get back later in the day to settle in for the evening. I am sure I am running out of space but a special thank you to Charlie and Lydia for being so gracious. We look forward to our next visit!!!

This was perhaps our most memorable week long stay ever! As soon as you enter the cottage it welcomes you. The beautifully painted floors, the well decorated rooms, the comfortable beds, and "the windows" are phenomenal! WOW, what a view! The inclement weather allowed us only two days of sitting in the colorful Adirondack chairs and gazing at the ocean but, there are so many places to go and things to see that, even in the worst weather, you can find something to do. The private beach is a great place to find sea glass. We ate lobster almost every night. I cannot wait to return!

A quiet getaway

A great place. Nice and quiet. A little hard to find the first time, but after that, no problem. Very clean cottage with New England charm. Great view of Casco Bay. The water almost comes up to the cottage. Close to excellent places for sea food. We bought lobsters from the local pound three days and cooked them in the cottage. Grocery store is close with a good selection of everything including wine, but a little pricey. The wharfs in Portland are only ten minutes away.

Charming oceanfront cottage with stellar sunrises!

Beautiful ocean views in this charming cottage. Very clean and comfortable. It's obvious right away that a decorator has made her mark here with excellent attention to detail.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and made it clear they were available if need be. My family especially enjoyed finding seaglass on the private beach.

I would definitely recommend the restaurants and shopping in the Old Port.
