OFF SEASON (Sept to May) Nightly rate has just been reduced from $300p/n to $250p/n. Weekly rate has also been reduced from $1950 to $1750p/w. These reduced rates do not include tax, cleaning, or damage waiver fee. These rates are for the 'off season' which is September to May only. Summer rates listed below.

Each Surf Rider Condo is individually owned and managed.

This newer, upstairs middle unit, ocean front condo is totally TOP OF THE LINE!! Luxuries include a Jacuzzi, large plasma screen TV with a DVD player, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, slate flooring throughout, granite counter tops in kitchen, travertine in both bathrooms, top of the line stainless steel appliances, Bosch dishwasher, and a front loading washer and dryer in the condo.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!

The interior offers breathtaking views from the living room, as well as from the pillow-top ultra comfy bed with 500 thread count sheets in the master bedroom where you can sit in bed and enjoy the waves, dolphins and surfers. There are also ocean views from the second bedroom which has its own private entrance. (yes, this bed also has high end linens for your comfort)

The Surf Rider ocean front condo will sleep 4 adults in two queen beds. The sofa in the living room will make into a double bed for extra sleeping space.

This condo is on the 2nd floor, the second unit in from the boardwalk with amazing ocean views and has a private patio with seating which is located outside, directly in front of the interior dining area. (Photo #5 shows the 6' sliding glass door and a 7' unobstructed window facing the ocean, this is where the condo's reserved patio area is located.) In addition to the private patio area for our condo, there is also a large common (shared) patio area surrounding the Jacuzzi and BBQ area complete with chairs and chaise lounges for your use.

We have stocked the property with all the cooking utensils you could ask for... lots of pots & pans, knives, hand mixer, the VERY important blender for making margaritas, wine glasses, wine opener, plastic tumblers to take to the beach, beach chairs, beach towels, serving dishes and utensils, BBQ tools too...it's all here for your use and enjoyment.

This condo has ONE reserved parking spot. (Please note: The owners do not guarantee your vehicle will be able to fit in the parking space provided, nor are we able to provide additional parking if the assigned parking is too small. We have never had a problem with large vehicles NOT fitting into the parking spot provided, though it may need to be backed in if it is a large SUV)

PLEASE NOTE: The owner does not guarantee that the Jacuzzi will be available or operational. Jacuzzi could be closed for service or not working. Although we hope that any such interruptions would be brief, owner is not responsible for the availability of the Jacuzzi during your stay.

No Parties allowed on property. Partying may result in immediate removal from property without refund.

Great Location!

You can't beat the location - right on the beach and a parking spot right behind the condo. Also, not many condos in Mission Beach have a beachfront hot tub. I definitely recommend renting a bike and cruising the beach from pier to pier; they are reasonable to rent at several nearby shops. The condo is smallish, but is clean and well-maintained. Again, you can't beat the location.

My main complaints were that there was no bathroom door on the master bath and the ventilation in the unit was awful. You walk into the unit and you have a direct line of sight through the glass partition into the bathroom. I could not believe that. Since there were 5 of us, it was uncomfortable for all of us to sit in the living room on that futon. My daughter's slept terrible on that thing. I would come back if you put a bathroom door on, New living room furniture, fix the remote for the living room fan so you can adjust the speed of the fan. Also the spa was green toward the end of our stay. I almost went to Ralph's to get some chlorine for it.The complex was nice, neighbors nice including the 20 baseball players in the unit next to us, and easy access to the beach. But come on, NO BATHROOM DOOR?

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. The condo was built and designed without a bathroom door on the master bedroom bathroom. In the seven plus years we have owned the condo you are only the second renter to ever complain about the lack of bathroom door in the master bath. There are black out curtains on the window between the master bedroom and living area which serve as a barrier for privacy from seeing in to the master bed/bath area. Also there is a fully functioning and private hall bath (with a door) available for your use in the condo. I am sorry about the lack of ventilation in the condo. The week of July 4th can be quite hot at the coast. I have three (3) large standing fans and one smaller counter top fan in the condo for your use, as well as ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area. Unfortunately, I have no control over the common spa as that is an HOA maintained amenity, but had you let me know that it was green I would have been able to call our maintenance man to come put chlorine in the spa. Overall I do hope you enjoyed your stay in our condo. Thank you for letting me know about the lack of remote control for the spare room TV. I will replace that asap. Yours, Dana and Heather Robinson

Would consider staying again, although probably in either E or K.. Bathrooms, kitchen, beds all very nice. Loved the view, easy walking distance (north & south) to great places to eat. Noise level sometimes a problem mainly because of how building is built (curved). Would recommend better cleaning of all windows inside unit (lots of smudges/fingerprints), drapes were very shabby (hems coming out/stains/spots), closet in 2nd bedroom dusty and filled with "junk" and had hole in ceiling. Hardly any place to hang clothes. Dresser vey beat up" in 2nd bedroom. No gate in place for private baloney between L and K (broken off). Would have greatly appreciated at least a couple ice cube trays or bag of ice since the owner was made aware shortly after we arrived that the ice maker was not working. it was never fixed the entire time we were there.

Owner's Response: Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your review of our Surf Rider Condo. I will certainly make sure the cleaning company wipes down the interior of the second bedroom closet on a regular basis. Because of the lack of storage in the condo the second bedroom closet is used as a sort of additional 'storage' place for fans, a broom, a mop, etc. I will take a look myself to see what other items may be there and deal with it accordingly. I am not aware of a hole in the ceiling in the closet but will check on this on my next visit to the condo. With regard to the dresser in the second bedroom, being that the property is a vacation rental, people tend to beat up on things that are not theirs. Hence, the nicks and scratches that make the once new (and expensive) piece of furniture look beat up. I will take a look at it and possibly look in to replacing it. The day after you checked in you informed me that the ice maker was not working. I was not aware of this problem and I called a repair man the same day. He was not able to arrive until later in the week. Once the issue was determined we realized that the ice maker could not be repaired until the proper parts were ordered. The ice maker is now fixed and working properly. I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay, this was a problem that was clearly out of my control. The lack of the glass 'gate' that separates our private patio (unit L) and the private patio of the condo in front of us (unit K) is an issue that belongs to the owner of unit K. Unit K's private patio has a glass partition with the missing glass 'door' you mentioned. This glass partition is used to keep people out of unit K's private patio. And finally, I will take a look at the drapes. No one else has complained about this but I will certainly look into replacing them as soon as possible. Thank you again for your review.

A friend and I just got back from a girlfriend's trip to Mission Beach. We were thrilled with the condo, the view, and the great location. The condo itself was clean, bright and had all the amenities we needed. It was so nice to be able to relax in the livingroom and look out at the ocean & hear the crashing waves.

The patio area outside the condo was nice, as was the raised patio & hot tub area that overlooked the boardwalk. We spent many hours relaxing, people watching & listening to the waves crashing onto shore.

It was nice having a kitchen to use, as there is a Ralph's grocery store about a mile away. We stocked up on our first day & made several meals during our stay. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil, pan, and appliance you might need (including a blender for margaritas) and there are also 2 large gas grills on the patio for people's use.

Heather was great to work with & was very quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again... the location was great (in about the middle of the boardwalk), the views spectacular, and the condo itself was very comfortable.

Awesome Beach Vacation

This condo is in a great location. Close to all that Mission Beach has to offer. The condo itself is beautiful with all the comforts of home. If we needed something we were able to find it in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen. We were able to see and hear the ocean 24/7. What a feeling to wake up in the morning to a hot cup of coffee, sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves crashing. When we had a question about the condo the owner was quick to help us. Thank you. We stayed for 8 nights and wished we could stay for many more. We will be back!
