Furnished, well-appointed, spacious 3800 sq foot “executive home” on exclusive Scarborough Beach. The beach is a one-minute walk from the home down a path lined with bushes that flower in the summer. The beach is unique among southern Maine's sandy beaches; it is over a mile long and is free of development. Save one house in over a mile, there are no homes situated directly on the beach dunes. The beach and area are outstanding for swimming, walking, surfing, and boating. There are spectacular views of Stratton Island, Shooting Rocks, and Black Point. There are excellent golf courses within 15 minutes of the house, public tennis courts and wildlife and bird sanctuaries. Public boat ramps are nearby. The layout of the home is a split level with 4 BRs and 2 and 1/2 Baths. There is a dining room, living room, and two family rooms, a large sun room and open deck. Amenities include high speed Internet and cable TV. The executive home is fully furnished with dishes, linens, and BBQ.

In addtion, there are bird and wildlife sanctuaries within five minutes of the house. Need some old New England hospitality? The Old Seaport area on the Portland waterfront is known for its unusual crafts, art, antique shops and its many excellent New England style restaurants.

For Winslow Homer enthusiasts, his studio is a 10 minute bike ride away on Black Point. the Portland Museum of Art has an excellent Homer rxhibit as well as many other well known Maine artists.
