ONE ROOM STUDIO - 1 BR, 1 bath, sleeps 2 adults (queen bed), eat-in kitchen

Adorable beach studio cottage, 300 foot walk to Long Sands beach. Perfect for a 'romantic getaway for two'. Furnished with a queen bed, sofa, coffee table and vintage enamel-top table at which to dine or enjoy your morning coffee. Dishes, glasses, pots, pans, cooking utensils and all the other furnishings to comfort you during your stay. Kitchen with stove/oven, toaster oven and microwave, Cable TV, wireless internet, DVD/VHS/CD player with flat screen TV and no phones to bother you! Gas grill with side burner perfect to grill steaks and cook corn on the cob or lobsters! Outdoor table and 4 chairs to enjoy dinners outside or cocktails at sunset. Cottage is air conditioned as well for those who prefer it! Sorry, no pets allowed, by condo association rules. Outlet shopping in Kittery, ME! :-)

Near Portsmouth, NH for downtown shopping and great restaurants; Kittery, ME for all the outlet shopping to your heart's content; antiquing along Route 1 as you head north through York, Ogunquit, Wells, and Kennebunk. There is a small zoo/amusement park in York Beach perfect for families as well as ice cream shoppes, candy stores, and gift shops. The two beaches in York are some of the best along the coast of southern Maine, Long Sands beach and Short Sands beach. The seafood restaurants are phenomenal, ranging from the 'beach' clam shacks to the higher end, fine dining establishments for a more special dinner, if you so desire.

We just got back from a great week in this adorable cottage. It's beautiful inside (nicer in person) and very quiet. It's got a very well-equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, and a great shower. It was an easy walk to the beach at Long Sands and an easy drive to everything else. My husband and I were there with our preschooler, which worked out OK, but next time we'll look for something a little bigger and more kid-friendly. We'd go again in a heartbeat if it's just the two of us!!
