The House: This is a 3 year old owner / contractor built home with no expenses spared in the building or the decorating. The house features a master bedroom with king bed, walk-in closet, heated floors in the bath, a unique architectural view of the lake, and a wonderfully large shower with 2 shower heads. The living room features a stone gas fireplace, large plasma screen TV with a full library of DVD's. All the bedrooms have TVs and the family room downstairs has an internet connected PC. All linens and cooking utensils are provided.
The Winter and the Summer months: Please visit our website by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page to see all of the activities that await you at Donner Lake. Skiing, golfing, hiking and boating are all within a half hour drive of this lovely home. There are 5 public piers within 200yards of the back of the house which gets you to your fishing or boating easily. Old Truckee is 15 minutes away and features both world class dining and shopping.
The Off Peak seasons: The best kept secret in the Sierra is the off season. If you want to step back in time and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of lake front living, then come visit us in the off season. It is my favorite time in this part of the world. All of the amenities are still available, but without the crowds, traffic and noise. The rates are also better as well. For a real treat, give it a try.
