Interior: The expansive interior is complimented by beautifully decorated rooms. The window treatments and walls have been custom designed for the home. There is a large, modern, American Kitchen fully equipped with everything necessary to cook any meal that you desire. The lofted rotunda ceiling of the living room is covered by custom-handmade tropical wood adding a luxurious feeling of grandeur. Walls of sliding glass doors and large windows abound the Ocean view side of the entire home.

Exterior: You enter the property through private security gates. The entrance is beautifully presented in stone. tiled floored and element protecting large roof. The underside of the entrance is handsomely done in tropical wood. The Ocean facing backyard has amenities to enhance the view. A uniquely designed pool with sunken bar, whirlpool and infinity edge compliment the tastefully decorated covered patio. Views and sunsets are provided by Mother Nature and come free of charge to those fortunate enough to have selected Azulonda as their Costa Rica Getaway.

Beachfront Golf: As with all Beachfront Properties Rentals, Renters of Azulonda will have golf privileges at Papagayo Golf and Country Club at reduced rates. Daily space is limited to 4 rounds of golf and subject to availability. See your Beachfront representative for further information.

We had a really great time during our stay at Playa Hermosa! The house we rented, Azulonda, was all and even more than we expected! It was in a good location with a spectacular view of the ocean and we enjoyed the walk each day to the beach! Management was really great as all our questions and concerns were taken care of immediately. We hope we can go back and stay there again someday in the future!

What a view

My husband and I were on sabbatical for a month here with our family. We loved the view of the ocean and spent many hours just relaxing around the pool. The sunsets were often breathtaking. The property was clean and well maintained and we were spoiled by having maid service. We found the Costa Rican people warm and very helpful. Costa rica is a great blend of relaxation and adventure. We took several side tours which my young adult children loved; hiking the volcanos, ATV ride, Hot Springs, Canyoning, Snorkeling, Sports fishing, Canopy ride, Surfing, and River tour to name a few. Our friends and family were all green with envy when we share how great our time was at Costa Rica. We would love to return again sometime.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our stay at Azulonda in Hermosa

We stayed at the Azulonda house in Hermosa and it was as beautiful as described. We were very pleased with the house. It was very clean and well maintained. David was very nice and a great help with the tour we took and places to eat - along with any other questions we asked him. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Costa Rica. Our activities were limited because of rain but we would really encourage visitors to take the tour of the river to see the wild life. The country is so pretty and the people were all so nice. Our favorite place to eat in Hermosa was Aqua Sports. The food was great and the lady is from Montana. There were even monkeys in the trees while we were there and we watched the beautiful sunset from there. In Coco we really liked Papa Gayo Steakhouse. All their food was wonderful. We would like to return one of these days and will definitely contact Beach Front Properties for availability of the house. Our thanks to all the people we met there.

We felt like we walked into the Four Seasons, Playa
Hermosa. Everything was perfect, such a livable
home with a spectacular view. The agent was
incredibly helpful and we are planning a return
visit. All US conveniences, phone, blazingly fast
wifi, flat screen-we cheered on all the holiday
games while eating Mahi-mahi we caught that day.
