Mike,
Your Jay home is the homiest home we have ever rented. Everything was
so inviting, soft, clean, organized, scenic, well-decorated... It was
just like home. I loved the gate at the top of the stairs on the deck;
what a great way to keep pets and children happy. We even did our yoga
routine on the deck; it was so peaceful. The views, day and night,
rain or shine, were fantastic...breathtaking! We could see for miles
and miles. If I had to describe our stay in one word, I would choose
TRANQUIL. We were surrounded by tranquility. Thank you for sharing
your home with us.
'This house exceeded our expectations, big, beautiful, clean, gorgeous view, well-maintained property, close to conveniences, well equipped. My kids loved it from the second they walked in - all five of them. I would highly recommend this home to anyon

Perfect for leaf peepers or your private romantic getaway. There are endless miles of scenic drives in NEK. Although you will find you do not need to go far. We have covered bridges, beautiful country landscapes, and rustic barns all within a five-minute drive. It is truly one of the last untouched gems in Vermont. The Mountain View Trail House is surrounded by activities and beautiful scenery in every season.
For a summer retreat, The Mountain view Trail house lives up to its name being less than a mile from the trail-head of the infamous Long Trail. Or if you prefer, The Appalachian Trail is not far either. Special rates for hikers! If you would like the refrigerator stocked, let us know. You can also cool off at the local swimming hole, complete with rope swing, only a short five-minute drive from the house! Or take a 20-minute trip into Newport to Lake Memphremagog for sailing, jet skiing, boating, or relaxing.

The 'West Bowl' development will make Jay Peak Ski Area the second largest in the state by adding an additional 250 acres on 1400 vertical feet of terrain.
Golf:
On November 18, 2003, Jay Peak Resort announced expansion plans for the west bowl, which will include new lifts as well as a championship 18-hole golf course, making the area a true four-season Vermont vacation destination. Renowned Canadian architect Graham Cooke of Montreal designs the new golf course. The course design will be versatile making it challenging for those golfers who play from the back tees and enjoyable for those playing from the mid tees.
