Affordable beautiful home for families to enjoy!

We visited the White Mt. area for a week in mid-July and greatly enjoyed our stay at this home.
Although there were only five of us, the house can accomodate several more. There are three bedrooms and we only used two of them. Having two bathrooms is also very convenient.
The home has two bedrooms downstairs (a master and a room with two bunks), as well as a bathroom, large living room (with a huge TV) and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The bunk room also has many toys which my daughter enjoyed playing with. Although there is an air conditioner downstairs, as well as upstairs, we didn't even need to use the one downstairs as it was always comfortable, even at night.
The upper level includes a large kitchen with all the appliances, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious open room with a dining table and living room area (with an even larger TV). An air conditioner helps cool things off in the evening. Open the drapes in the living room and you get a gorgeous view of Mt. Washington. There were quite a few nice, fresh air mornings I sat on the deck taking in the view.
There is also another bathroom and a bedroom with two double beds and an air conditioner on the upper level. Upstairs you will also find numerous games and a wide selection of children and adult movies. However, there were so many channels on the satellite TV that we never even watched any of the DVDs!
We found the home to be very clean and well-maintained with plenty of linens and toiletries. The owners are very accomodating and even called to make sure we had arrived.
Aside from the great memories I have taken with me from this vacation, I have also developed a love for the cute little town of Jackson. It was so cool to pass over the famous covered bridge daily going to and from the house. We visited Flossie's, a lovely little gift shop right near the bridge (and the best gift shop we visited the entire trip!). We even went to the Jackson Elementary school so my daughter could play on the swings. Jackson Falls is neat to see and as we passed by Black Mountain every day, we sometimes would get to see the horses outside.
The house is only about a five minute ride to Storyland and less than an hour to Santa's Village. Conway and North Conway are within 20 to 30 mins.
So if you have a family and are planning a get away to Storyland, I highly recommend this home away from home for a week's stay.
