About as close to perfect as you can get...

I have rented a lot of vacation homes in many states and this one is just about the best. If you are looking for adventure or just want to relax this is the place to be even if your traveling companions include the newer "grands", ages three and one, plus their parents and a friend. Had the older "grands" been with us also, ages fourteen and eighteen it still would have been perfect. It is spacious enough that all needs are easily met, including "having to bring work with you" that so many of us now do.
This is not to say that this is a family only style rental, it is ideal also for adults only.
With the central location, all of the year round activities the area is famous for are within an easy drive. This trip we did not do our usual antique/junk hunting but did try out the new water park where you can buy a day pass and it was great for the youngest to the oldest, but leaves you too tired to think about making dinner. Luckily there is a restaurant, Dana's, just down the road from the community that not only is happy to see you, and has good food but they will deliver for those not wanting to sit up straight.
The lure of the outlet stores, which I believe is called "The Crossing", proved a little too strong and with deeply discounted prices we made a few more trips than we thought we would.
Speaking of lures, I forgot to bring my fishing rod and one of the neighbors told me the lake was great fishing for bass - next time.
I had planned on visiting the Casino which really is only ten minutes down the road but a warm fire and good few good books added to the comfort of the house was too much to overcome.
You do need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels - there are plenty of blankets but even with the washer and dryer it is easy to underestimate how many towels you will use but that is easily remedied at Wal-Mart where the bath towels are only $3 each.
Food shopping is a bit more of a challenge, quality and price wise at both the Wal-Mart and I think the other local store was a Stop and Shop. The fresh veggies at the Wal-Mart were over-priced but if you went to their "organic" section, they were cheaper and fresher. Neither store is a store for fish lovers.
I would suggest doing what I usually do but didn't this time, which is to ask a local where they shop.
Would I recommend this property to a friend, or even more frightening to a relative? With no question about it, the answer is a yes.
