Wake up to the breath taking sunrises; walk miles on the sandy beach and enjoy sandy swimming. Barbecue and lounge on the large lighted deck in front of the beach. A newly remolded 22'X 22’ kitchen and dining area provides ample space for cooking, dining or socializing. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from wall to wall windows in a large 22’ x 22’ Great Room. A cozy 22’ x 20’ Master Bedroom has 2 decks and large windows facing the lake.     Cancellation Policy. Full refund if made three weeks prior to the beginning rental date. Rental deposit forfeited if cancellation is made less than 3 weeks, but may be used as a deposit on a future available open date within one year. For emergency reasons owner reserves the right to cancel anytime with a full refund given.

  • A cozy and romantic 22' X 20' upper level Master Bedroom with a king size bed. Large windows allow you to wake to the beautiful sunrises off the lake. Lounge on the front deck that opens from the MB. Newly remodeled downstairs bedroom includes a Queen bed with another trundle twin underneath. The large 22' X 22' family room has a double and twin fold out coach and a twin trundle bed that sleeps 2. The unfinished basement also has a queen fold out couch and futon. Can sleep up to 11 people. In the summer a 10-man tent with mattresses allow additional guests to camp.

Dryer, towels, sheets.... just check the list. Enjoy your favorite sports or movies on a large screen TV/DVD/VCR with full cable. If you must bring your work or e-mail friends from wireless cable network. Children and pets are welcomed. Play pen, toys and books for the children. For outdoor actives there are water rafts, games and a large outside deck with grill and lounging chairs to barbecue and chill time. For activities you can walk, bike ski, fish float, paddle, the beaches, lakes and parks whatever the season or your sport is. Jet ski and boat rentals just a 1/4 mile north. I have stayed in this beautiful setting and relaxed. This home has many beautiful corners and space for family and friends to gather. The outside deck, beach, views, and walking paths along the shore are it's strenth and reason to want to visit. The kitchen is new, great to cook and gather in with a bedroom and bathroom easy access off the kitchen, along with the senic living room up a few steps from the kitchen. A larger nicely decorated bedroom is above the living room looking out to the beautiful blue lake.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Clean and spacious with great views of the lake, both day and night views are well worth the huge windows that catch every moonglow and ray of sun! A great way to wake up with a cup of java in the morning to refresh the soul! regards, C from southfield.

Not well Maintained/Clean

Location was accurate but close to road.
Property was not well maintained or cleaned (holes in walls/ needed paint/ pet stains)
Owner's Response: I am very disapointed in this renters response. After 4 years of providing weekend and weekly rentals this was my first negative response and was amazed because I...the owner, Sharleen, personally cleaned and prepared for this renter. Other than a few marks on the wall and dust on the ceiling fan the place was clean and I put extra time and joy into decorating for the fall season. I am so proud of the comments from previous renters on my new renovatoion to the downstaris Kitchen, DR, Bath, and BR in 2006. Everything is so open for families gatherings. During the winter months while I have more time between renters is when I do my carpet cleaning, painting, and remodeling. This year I am building a privacy fence around the home for safety and shelter from the road. I have added a king bedroom set to the master bedroom and a queen to the 1st floor. The deck is now enclosed with lattice fencing for beach and winter storage . The winter season is great for hiking and x-country sliining and decorated for the Holiday Season. Come and enjoy.

Nice House

The locations is wonderful. It is on a busy busy road, but the deck and lake are very set back. The house is fairly close to the road, however I did not hear it at night.

The beach and lake are wonderful, there is a large deck that overlooks the water, and is large enough to enjoy games or relaxing. There is also a large backyard.

House has 2 bedrooms ( 2 dbl beds) and then many pull out couches. Not ideal if you want 10-11 people but we had 9 and make do. Kitchen is new and has all the ammentities you need.

Grocery store is 5 minutes and there are fresh farm stands 1 minute down the road.

This cottage was pet-friendly and our dogs loved the swim and sun.

Good place to rent.
