Our Apartment is located at the entrance to Golden Gate Park and within walking distance to the UCSF medical campus, Haight Ashbury and the museums and activities of the park. The Inner Sunset is a safe and lively neighborhood boasting over 60 restaurants as well as all the basic services needed for a short or extended stay. No car is needed as it sits at the crossroads of light rail and several bus lines from which to explore the city. It is easily reached from both San Francisco and Oakland International Airports via public transportation (BART and MUNI). See our website mysfstay com. Owners live in building.
The one bedroom, one bath, rear second floor apartment comfortably sleeps two. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. A crib and stroller are available. We supply linens and towels. Our fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and kitchenware. Also included is a washer and dryer, hi speed WiFi internet, Cable-TV, DVD player, and AM/FM/CD stereo.

We used this property while my wife was having surgery at UCSF. Previously I had stayed at a hotel recommended by UCSF which turned out to be incredibly noisy. This location is simply phenomenal; there is a plethora of restaurants nearby and groceries/other supplies are within a block. I mentioned the noisy hotel because this location was really, really quiet. We never heard any noise from the street which was important for those of us that were getting limited sleep.
As for the landlord; I cannot say enough nice things about him. We were distracted by the seriousness of the surgery and Jim was very patient with me in fielding questions that, in all likelihood, were on their website. He also checked with me (even though he was on vacation) to see if I needed anything and asked how my wife was doing. Class, pure class.
The hospital was an easy walk with a Starbucks just around the corner to jump start your day. I noted three or four other coffee shops if you are not a "Bucks" fan.
I hope I do not have to have another extended stay at UCSF but if I do; I will try and coordinate appointments around this property's availability!
My young daughter and I needed accommodations in San Francisco and we didn't want to stay in a hotel. This apartment is ideal if you want to experience true San Francisco. Parking was pretty good considering parking can be a nightmare in San Francisco. The hosts Deborah and Jim were wonderful. I was traveling with a young child and Deborah helped us with our bags- went over and beyond what is expected due to trying to park on the street, keeping a watchful eye on a little girl and move baggage! The apartment is very clean and we loved the washer/dryer, kitchen was perfect with a fridge big enough to hold all your groceries. Because the unit was at the back of the building noise was not an issue at all. The pictures are exactly what you see. As a previous San Franciscan it was a joy to stay in a place reminiscent of flats I used to rent during college. It will give you a true sense of what it is like to actually live in San Francisco, without having to pay $60+ per night for parking. The location makes it very easy to get to where you want to go in San Francisco as well. There are some excellent restaurants within walking distance too. The only advice I have for travelers that are driving is to read the parking signs very carefully so you don't get a ticket or get towed for parking in the wrong spot on the wrong day!
This apartment was perfect for my friends and I. It easily accomodated all three of us and our tons of luggage. The place is very clean and airy. The location is ideal. Great restaurants around, all in walking distance. Public trans is also around the corner. We had a rental car and had no problem finding parking. Would definitely consider for my next trip to San Fran.
Great apartment in a great neighborhood in a great city. We had a wonderful stay here. The location is good for walking to Golden Gate Park or just around the local Sunset neighborhood or the near by Haight to check out local stores and restaurants. It's also just a block from a Muni line, so getting into downtown is easy. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and professional. We will be back.
We had a wonderful stay in the Garden View Apartment. It's in a great location close to a varitey of good restaurants, mass transit and is less than a block from Golden Gate Park. The owners and property manager were helpful and quick to respond to our questions and checked in to make sure all was well. We highly recommend this affordable, clean, quiet, and well-equipped apartment to anyone wanting a place to stay in SF.
Superb location 1/2 block from the 9th Ave entrance to GG Park. A plethora of good restaurants within a few blocks. Good access to muni transport. Property is as advertised. Comfortable older SF flat, updated Kitchen, Bath and flooring. Parking is tough, but non-metered spaces can be found on Lincoln or inner side streets with diligence; bring a lot of quarters. Inkeeper pleasant and helpful.
