The 7th Arrondissement is a special 'quartier' which has retained its village-like atmosphere. There are three open markets located a short walk away, where merchants bring their foods and wares from all over France. Loads of shops, restaurants, and cafés on every street. The famous Rue Cler market is five minutes away. Running, basketball-playing, skating, and bicycling can all be enjoyed in the park across the street. You can walk to landmarks, museums, shopping areas, and excellent restaurants that Parisians eat at. It's a five-minutes walk to the famous Bateau Mouche boat tours along the Seine, the infamous Sewers of Paris Tour, the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero, the Musee d'Orsay, and so on.
