2BR/2BA Luxury Cabin Sleeps 4 (2 King-size beds)

Private, secluded Serenity Hill Cabin is located on a hill at the end of a wooded peninsula. Although thousands of cabins in the Smoky Mountains offer scenic mountain views, very few offer panoramic, 200 degree mountain AND lake views. And what's really amazing is that you won't have to share these views with anyone else! This cabin stands alone at the top of the hill. (There IS one cabin and a beautiful brick home at the bottom of the hill, but they're not seeing what you're seeing).

This property is truly unique, as is the cabin that crowns it. The cabin was designed to highlight the views, and with decks on three sides, it does exactly that. It's a luxurious cabin - professionally decorated in a Thomas Kincaid motif, with quality furnishings and state-of-the-art appliances - but it can't match the natural beauty of the surrounding lake and mountains. The deer sure love it here...as do the turkeys, fox, raccoons, cardinals, bluebirds, hawks and even bald eagles. You will, too!

Historic Dandridge: Serenity Hill Cabin is located on the outskirts of Dandridge, TN ( named after President George Washington's wife). It's a quaint little town where battle lines were drawn during the Civil War. With a population just a little over 2,000, it maintains its small town feel, with craft and antique stores and some really good restaurants!

Catch Your Own Dinner!: English Mountain Trout Farm is located right next to Forbidden Caverns, about 15 miles away from the cabin. A lot of guests that stay at Serenity Hill Cabin fish for their dinner. And a lot of the fish they catch is 3 and 4 pounds! You catch 'em, and the restaurant will clean and cook 'em however you like! And if you or someone in your group doesn't want fish, they also have all kinds of other mouth-watering foods on the menu. It's best to call before you go though, since they are only open from April - November, and the hours vary. (We have menus with hours of operation at the cabin, along with a lot of other information for all kinds of restaurants and attractions around the area.)

Why not enjoy beautiful mountain views from a beautiful lake? Douglas Lake is the closest recreational body of water to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Park. This 30,000 acre, all-sports lake provides some of the best fishing in TN! No boat? No problem! You can rent pontoons, fishing boats, or jet skis. Or just sit and enjoy the 200 degree lake and mountain views from the cabin. It really is the best of both worlds!

If you're looking for action, take the scenic route into the heart of Sevierville (20 miles), the back door into Dollywood (28 miles) or the scenic route to light #3 in Gatlinburg (38 miles). These back roads are really beautiful...kind of like Cades Cove without the bumper to bumper traffic! Or, jump on I-40 (5 miles) and you can be in Knoxville in about 1/2 hour, or Asheville in a little over an hour. Forbidden Caverns and the Exotic Petting Zoo are within 15 miles and several white-water rafting companies and horseback riding stables are within 30 miles.

Golf: There are 4 golf courses within about 15 miles of the cabin.

  • Both bathrooms are large and very nicely laid out. The vanities are spacious with large, well-lit mirrors, and there is a blow dryer in each bathroom. There are even mountain views from both bathroom windows! (Plenty of towels and all paper products are provided.)

  • The king-size bed in the Master Bedroom has a thick, top-of-the-line mattress, covered with one of several, quality Croscill comforters and matching window treatments (although you may want to leave the curtains open to enjoy the beautiful lake view). And the pine, custom-made headboards and cabinets were hand-crafted by one of the area's finest cabinet makers. (Be sure to enjoy a romantic moment in the stacked-stone Jacuzzi before turning in for the night ;-) The loft bedroom has the same luxurious furnishings as the Master Bedroom, minus the Jacuzzi. And it's very spacious with an AWESOME view of the lake from the full-length, custom-made window seat. (Both bedrooms have remote-control satellite TV's.) Both the living room and game room have huge, plush, leather sofas that open into queen-size sleepers. And there are plenty of linens and blankets to keep everyone warm and cozy! And, of course, both rooms also have remote-control satellite TV's.

Wonderful Weekend

Greg and Belinda,
Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us. The cabin was neat, clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything and anything anyone could possibly need. Husbands enjoyed the game room, especially the air hockey and foosball tables. Your attention to detail with the book of "house rules" plus local restaurants, attractions, etc. made our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

The hot tub was an added plus. Gazing at Lake Douglas while soaking in the hot tub was a wonderful way to spend a Friday night! We're already started to talk about a revisit to Serenity Hill Cabin.

amazing even in the rain

It rained the whole time and my family loved it! The rain on the roof was so soothing and we had a blast with the game room. Whenever we come back to the Smokeys we will be sure to stay here!

Was this cabin worth an 11 hour drive from the Twin Cities...yes,yes,yes!We were blessed to stay eight nights at Serenity Hill Cabin the first week of October and we keep remarking that it was one of our most wonderful vacations.
Words almost fail as to how lovely this property truly is...from the decorating and landscaping to the vistas of the lake and the mountains.From our first contact with Greg and Belinda we knew that we had made the right decision in choosing Serenity Hill Cabin.Everything was professionally handled from the web site,the reservation process,all of the helpful hints.
We also were blessed to renew our wedding vows(12 years of marriage)in such a gorgeous setting in front of the fireplace with lots of pictures taken outside.
Our prayer,Greg and Belinda is that as you have refreshed others our Lord will refresh the both of you.
