Condo Cristina # 4 is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, just three blocks from the two most popular beaches in Playa (Mamitas and Tukan) and one block off famous Fifth Ave, or Avenida Quinta. The former Tukan Beach club is now, 'Kool' get there early and you can rent lounge chairs and an umbrella for under $10 USD for the day and the club at Mamitas is even cheaper. Have the waiters bring you some nice margaritas or cold beers at the club. Condo Cristina # 4 is across the street from a park with free tennis courts, and a running track. At Condo Cristina, you can catch some rays on our private rooftop solarium sunbed, have a drink at your own wet bar on the private solarium, take a dip in the pool. watch cable TV on one of two LCD TVs, and check e-mail with the wireless broadband connection. In short, you have it all.

    You wire the money through Pay Pal. 1/2 to reserve and secure the condo for date requested, plus a $75 cleaning fee. The remaining half is due at least ten days before the first day of arrival. There is also a $200 damage deposit, fully refundable upon return of keys and inspection by and approval of property manager. We use Pay Pal for secure transactions.

Notes: This is a relatively new building, opening in 2007. We do not smoke, so although we have not designated this a non-smoking unit, non-smokers will not find that it is, essentially, a non-smoking unit. Also, the 2000 square feet size of condo includes the penthouse bar and solarium and terraces off the kitchen and Master bedroom. If you prefer small, boutique style condos to large impersonal condo complexes, Condo Cristina will appeal to you. With only four condos in the building, you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors keeping you up all night. You can enjoy the beautiful chaos of 5th Ave, only a block away, spend the day at Mamitas or Tukan beaches less than four blocks away, then return to the pool at Condo Cristina, and enjoy a cocktail or a cold beer at the bar on your own private penthouse solarium. It doesn't get much better than that.

Tons of light, clean, with a nice sized-kitchen and VERY centrally located. All the amenities you'd want, and plenty of space. Near a gelato place that's excellent. Highly recommended.

Playa has become a regular vacation spot for me, and the location of Condominio Cristina is PERFECTO! You're essentially right in the middle of all the happenings, but being just enough off the main strip and having only a few units in the building offers exactly the perfect combination of ease and privacy we look for on a Playa vacation. And last time I stayed there, I only had to walk FIVE minutes to Mamita's Beach to see Kool & the Gang live. What more could you ever ask for!?

I am a hard grader, as is my wife, but this place exceeded our expectations. We've been to Playa many times and stayed in many places, but this place is really our favorite so far.

If it were in the US, it would be called a townhome rather than a condo. Since there are only four condos and it is four levels with the great private solarium on the roof, it is like having your own house. It is well appointed with new comfortable beds, wireless internet which worked, HBO and Cinemax, the whole entertainment package.

While the private solarium is great, we didn't use the jacuzzi much at all because it was just too hot. The owner did follow up and ask for feedback, which was a good sign. From our discussion with him, he said they were taking out the jacuzzi and putting in a wet bar with bar stools and a palapa, which makes a lot of sense since it will get a lot more use during the day especially. You can't go wrong with this place being only a block off Fifth Ave and a five minute walk to the beach.

The property manager was also very good and helpful and speaks Italian and Spanish as well as English. Believe me, this makes a huge difference in Playa.
