SPACIOUS, CLEAN, CLOSE TO SLOPES

  • 5 of 5
I had a few people visiting from the East Coast that had never skied Colorado before. They loved the five minute walk to both the American Eagle and American Flyer lifts that accommodate beginner and expert level skiers alike. When it started dumping snow the night before our stay, we were excited, but also worried about the potential of the tunnel closing. Fortunately for us, the condo was unoccupied and Deb let us add an extra night. We all got there safely and had a blast waking up to 18" of snow! I can't promise that much snow, but I can say how much I appreciated Deb helping us avoid even worse road conditions then we were already facing. Plenty of room for 3 couples and a few friends that joined us for lunch while we took a ski break. Do pack basic spices, saran wrap, aluminum foil, etc., if you plan on cooking in. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, blankets and other everyday basics though. We even stepped out to play a little table top Jenga at an Irish Pub just around the corner. Even though we have a pass to Copper, we had never spent the night there. I am glad we thought of it, and will definitely return to this condo.

DAVIDSON REVIEW

  • 5 of 5
We loved our time at the condo. It was quiet, close to the slopes, and extra roomy, especially the living area and large, fully supplied kitchen. There is a very nice gas fireplace that keeps the living area cozy and provides a nice ambiance. My favorite area was the loft, which was also spacious, sunny, had a fine view, and an ensuite. It's a great place to tuck yourself away from any group chaos, or for reading, or a quick nap. It's a wonderful hiding place that you just don't often find in a condo. Copper Mountain is a ideal setting, relaxed, beautiful, perfect. We arrived during a snowstorm, and it was so lovely, everything looked like a postcard.

CONVENIENT AND VERY REASONABLE

  • 5 of 5
I've stayed at Deb's condo in each of the last two years. This coming January will mark the 3rd straight year to rent the condo for a 3-day trip with some friends. The condo is clean, spacious, and easy to get to. It's on the 2nd floor (no waking up to ski-boots banging around on the floor above you) and only a couple hundred yards from the base of American Flyer lift in center village. If you're a beginner or more advanced level, it's about the same distance to the village shuttle bus stop that will take you anywhere in the village you want to go. The owners have kept the condo simple with everything you need, but have left out the granite/stainless/elaborate bedding/etc to keep the prices excellent for a condo of this size and capicity. There is a full kitchen, along with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc., so you can stop at the Safeway a few exits east of Copper (Dillon, I think?) and stock up on groceries for the trip. The village also has several restaurant choices if you prefer to go out to eat instead. Again, this is simple condo, perfect for a group of friends on a budget or a few couples to share for a few days on the mountain for very reasonable rates. Deb is a pleasure to work with and very helpful with suggestions if you're unfamiliar with the mountain. Both she and the Condo come highly recommended.
