Girdwood Suite Retreat was SWEET
Upon entering the house, we definitely realized that the listing description & photos didn't do it justice. This is an executive home that we had 7 sleeping upstairs & 2 downstairs, easily. The master bedroom downstairs was the envy of all of us who didn't stay in it. We also rented the cabin, which had a full bathroom & kitchen, beyond the deck which housed 3 more of our group. We played some of the board games, the non-skiiers loved the cable TV (I liked the music stations), the wine fridge came in very handy ;) and full garage kept one vehicle warm, as well as all our gear. The hot tub was definitely used in the 9° weather, by 10 of the 12. Bill called it a 'compound', which from the street view, seemed an exaggeration; it isn't. I highly recommend anyone staying at the house or the whole compound during any season. You can walk to town or to the slopes, as well as the nearby trail system for other activites. Bill is most helpful to help you make your stay enjoyable.
