WOW! What a home! What a vacation!

What an absolutely beautiful home - and a great vacation spot as well! The pictures say it all! This IS the best of the best! There are many other beautiful homes in the area, too, making our walks that much more interesting and fun. There are geese and their young across the street on Lily Pond and there's a male and female fox that we had the opportunity to watch every morning as we ate breakfast, trotting down the road between the house and Lily Pond into the small wooded area across the street. The Cohasset area is sceneic and so close to Salem, Glouchester, Lexington, Concord, Boston, Cape Cod, etc -- they're all easy day trips (we found fresh lobster for $6.95/lb in Glouchester!) The train from Boston goes right into Cohasset and costs only $2.00/person - so save some gas and park the car because you can go a whole lotta places (Qunicy Market, the aquarium, Salem, Boston Town Square, Government Center, and lots more!) for $2.00 on the "T"! The owner was very, very responsive in regards to any questions or issues we had (which were very few!). The only negatives were that cars fly down the road at an incredible speed most of the night (almost every night, it seemed- but little traffic during the day) and that the beds in the bedrooms other than the master are lumpy, squeaky and uncomfortable (the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable!) Other than that, the kitchen was perfect, as was the media room and the sun porch! Taking everything into consideration, I'd say this home is top-notch for most everyone, but especially for the 40+ crowd or a girls week-end. I have recommended this home to friends and I'd love to come back again sometime!
