The villa is set in beautiful gardens and is surrounded by outside terracing. At the back of the house there is a very private jet jacuzzi area (for 6 people) and to the front a very well appointed swimming pool. There is a further decking area for sunbathing with a barbecue. The interior of the villa is very well furnished and a new ultra modern kitchen has been recently installed. All the living areas are bright and airy and each bedroom has its own colour theme and furnishings comprise a combination of top quality new and antique furniture. The villa is situated within 5 minutes of Fornells which has a small port and enjoys many shops and restaurants. There is also a sailing school and windsurfing school within 5 minutes of the property. Mahon is about 15 miles away as is Citadella, the beautiful 12th century capital.

Fornells is situated on the north shore of the island of Menorca, probably the least known of the Balearics and therefore the least spoilt. The area is noted for its wonderful walks and also for sailing and windsurfing. The small port of Fornells is very quaint and has some very good local shops and excellent restaurants.

Apart from sailing and windsurfing, there is also a golf course at Son Parc that can be organised for you. This is approximately 15 minutes away from the house.Babysitting can also be arranged and we have an English girl who looks after the house who is on hand to help and answer any questions...

Menorca Country Club Villa

This is a lovely villa which comfortably accommodated my family of 8 (6 adults and 2 pre-teen children). It is furnished and equiped to a high standard. The view from the villa is splendid, the swimming pool area is first class and was much used by all my family. There is ample crashing-out space for sun worshippers, and the barbecue/outside dining area is particularly attractive, and was also much used for eating/socialising by us all late into the early hours. I would certainly recommend it, indeed I'm hopeful of returning before too long.

Fornells Playa is ideally suited for visits to Mahon at one end of the island, and Ciutedella at the other end. It is also a good jumping off point to all the many other pretty places on the island that are worth visiting.
Supermarkets, restaurants, car hire etc are all close by, but this still remains a pretty quiet location. It is Spain without the noise and smells.
The final bonus is that Menorca is only a short flight to/from the UK thus travel hassle is reduced to an absolute minimum. Go for it !!

Beautiful villa with sea views and very home from home. We had a wonderful week at the property doing nothing as it was so nice we didn't want to leave. Lovely well kept gardens although young children and elderly may find the steps in the garden a little tricky to deal with as there are quite a few.This we felt was the only downside. I would have no hesitation recommending this property and would certainly return here. Peaceful location although nowhere is far on Menorca and there is a supermarket, restaurants and a beach within walking distance.

Fantastic holiday

We are a family of five, with three boys (14, 10, 7). The accommodation was perfect for our needs, with each boy having their own room which meant peaceful nights. The swimming pool was the perfect size and depth for them, and the fact they could use it whenever they wanted was ideal. We barbequed most days / evenings, and were able to walk to the local restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. The outside eating area was beautiful, with plenty of shade from the midday sun. The living room was cool and comfortable, and the kitchen was modern and more than adequate for holiday catering. The boys loved the selected sky channels (free to view only) although they were more interested in the pool and jacuzzi! The location was quiet, being a cul-de-sac residential development. There were two local supermarkets within walking distance, although a car was a necessity in order to enjoy the sights of the island and to visit different beaches. All in all, a very relaxing, comfortable holiday!
