Breckenridge was founded in 1859 during the placer gold mining era. These days, in addition to the sporting activities, Breckenridge is home to the Breckenridge Festival of Film, the National Repertory Orchestra in Summer, and the longstanding Ullr Fest Parade in Winter honoring the Norse god of snow.

My family (8 people ranging in age from 10 months to 71 years) stayed here for a week. We all thought the house was perfect. In the past we've booked vacation rentals and been disappointed based on our expectations from a website. This was not the case here, we all loved it -beautiful house, very clean, great view, and had everything we needed for a plesant vacation. The private booking agent in charge of this property was also great. Because of a mistake on our part, we were not able to get into the house when we arrived. Even though it was our errer, he went out of his way to make it up to us. We would highly recommend this property.

A nice place to relax

The location of this property is great for those looking to enjoy the best of what Colorado has to offer. Breckenridge offers great dining and shoping and is a 3.5 mile walk on a paved path for those interested in taking in a little exercise and enjoying the views along the way. Skiing is near by with several options. The home itself is a nice place to spend the evenings after taking in the fresh air of Colorado.
