Located just 4 miles south of Historic Downtown Beaufort, & approximately 9 miles from Parris Island, our 4 bed, 3 bath unique waterfront home sits on a beautiful 180 acre island covered with large, moss draped oaks & over 2 miles of surrounding deep water creeks. This property has a private indoor pool, indoor hot tub, 42 inch HDTV, high speed wireless internet, wet bar & open den. Our home has been renovated with tile & wood flooring, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, & furniture from Bali & Indonesia. The kitchen is fully equipped & linens & towels are included. Grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, & Downtown Beaufort are all within a 5 minute drive. Hunting Island, Harbor Island & Fripp Island are all very close as well. Our House is located on the Deep Water Creeks of Beaufort, South Carolina. With its moss-draped oaks and historic homes, Beaufort is a terrific place to call home. Located just a few miles west of the Atlantic Ocean, Downtown Beaufort offers fine low country dining, upscale shopping, fine art galleries, and unique sightseeing. It has been the location for the filming of several movies such as Forest Gump, Prince of Tides, The Big Chill and The Great Santini. Parris Island is less than 10 miles away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • $1,400 to $1600 per Week
  • 1600 per week - Summer
    1500 per week - Spring/Fall
    1400 per week - Winter
  • We require a $300 refundable security deposit to reserve our home. A $65 cleaning fee is added to rental amount.
    Total Rental Balance is due 45 Days prior to arrival.

    Owners will pay for reasonable use of the hot tub (1 hour per day) If guests require additional hot tub time, arrangements must be made in advance to purchase more gas for hot tub. Hot Tub will stay how for at least one hour after heater is turned off.

    Linens and towels included free, but must be washed and dried before departure. If you do not wish to do this, you may bring your own, or we can wash and dry them for $30. If you are washing and drying the sheets and towels, we will give you an extra hour to check out, as we know this takes some time! (12pm instead of 11am)

Great Location in Beaufort, South Carolina: Beautiful views of the deep water creeks of Beaufort. Less than 4 miles from Downtown Beaufort, South Carolina. Less that 9 miles from Parris Island Gateway. Close to Hilton Head. One Note: This home is in a quiet neighborhood with many year round residents, so guests must be quiet and respectful of the property and the Island residents at all times. This is a truly wonderful Island where guests will enjoy quiet relaxation, beautiful views of the creeks, marsh, and Beaufort, and the true feel of low country South Carolina. House Parties, Loud Noise outside the house, etc are Not allowed.

Pool and Spa usage.: The spa is heated, but the pool is not. Rental rates include reasonable use of gas for heating the spa only. This equates to one hour per day. If you think you will be using the spa more that this we require that you make arrangements to pay for the extra gas usage.

Great place for a large group - very relaxing.

Found this place-sorta last minute. We were down for a Marine graduation. Liked the fact that it was close to P.I. Directions to the house could have been better described. Great place for a large group (we had 8 people) -lots of room. The indoor pool and hottub were great - although they needed a little TLC. Nice furnishings, quiet neighborhood, lovely dock for sunset watching - we even caught a crab! Well equipped kitchen, but the linens were hard to locate and there weren't really enough of them (and towels) for all the beds and guests.

We made the best of it. Nice to have the amenities of home (fridge, stove, etc.) as we could feel like we were at home.

Owners wre available when we had questions (a few) during our stay, and very helpful all around. Would recommend the home to others.

My husband and I decided to bring our moms along for a week's vacation in Beaufort. This place was just what we all needed! When we walked out back and saw the view of the marshes we knew we'd be spending a lot of time sitting under the huge oak trees and enjoying the scenery.
Beaufort is close to everything, but not as crowded and
"touristy" as some of the beach developments. Even more so for Distant Island, where the house is located. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in is that the hot tub was not working during our stay, but we had enough to do otherwise. Would recommend for peace and quiet and the beauty of nature!
