A perfect spot

We rented this property for Christmas and New year period, a bit worried as we live in UK and had no possibility to visit the area beforehands and din't know the owner.
The owner was very responsive to our emails (and, as foreigners, we had quite a few questions!).
We found a very nice house, clean and well maintained (we even had a pointsettia bunch on the table to welcome us), with a very nice pool. Our children spent their time in it, even though we had 2 days rather cold (in the 40/50s), as it was heated.
We didn't go out very much as we spent a lot of time visiting around and driving back for the meals, but we saw tens of leaflets about restaurants in the welcome book.
You do need a car (most of you would probably say "of course", but it is something probably forth mentioning for Europeans), as the house is in a residential area... which we found very advantageous, as the surroundings are very quiet (except the fireworks on New Year's eve but hey, that's probably everywhere!).
A lady came twice to check if everything was OK with the house... I would definitely recommand it to a friend.
