Full week of relaxation over Mem Day Weekend

What a great week we had! We flew in to Denver with the whole family to go to my cousin's wedding, and we found this place about as centrally-located as it gets. To the east of the house was my wife's sister's place, to the southwest was my uncle's and the wedding reception, and not too far to the west was the church. Plus we were right by the zoo & museum, as well as local shops and restaurants. And all this in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood to boot. Can't complain about the locale, that's for sure!
Linda was a great hostess as well. She checked in on us twice (but called first) just to make sure everything was fine. And I have to say, this was the most stocked vacation home we've ever stayed in. Not only were the furniture and appliances in good working order, but they were quite nice. And anything you could've needed - flashlight, detergent, soap, toilet paper, first-aid kit, even spices - were there. Not to mention a great library.
But with the weather like it was - very stormy - we really appreciated having a covered back deck, as well as a covered front porch. Those were certainly relaxing lifesavers for us with all the rain.
All in all, we were very happy, and we'll definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Denver.
