Great escape for large group of people

We escaped to the Union Pier with our friends for Memorial day weekend. Twelve group of people. There was plenty of room for everyone.We loved fully equipped kitchen and hot tub on the deck. Kids loved to play Ping-Pong and Pool. Walk to the beach is only couple minutes.Privete beach is amazing.Beautiful sunset!
Just 90 minutes from Chicago area, no traffic at all.Love it.

A great family reunion

We rented this house for members of a large family reunion group. It was perfect since the whole family was able to stay in Gowdy Shores. The house was great - large enough for 11 people without feeling crowded. It was neat and clean. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked for making big family meals. The downstairs showers were a great help and were actually preferred by some members of the group. Jason is an absolute dream to work with. He is amazing at helping you get what you want and is so pleasant about everything. I highly recommend him and the property. By the way, the Gowdy Shores beach is just a short walk and is a great beach. Plus you can walk into Union Pier for small groceries, or walk to Timothy's to eat.

Wonderful Rental Property

Gowdy Shores was the perfect place to stay for a weekend away for me and 6 of my girlfriends. The house is large enough for everyone to have a little privacy (and their own bed!), but cozy enough to curl up on the couch and watch a movie, have leisurely meals all around the great kitchen table, or relax in the hot tub. The extra showers in the bright basement were a pleasant surprise and are a great way to get a bunch of people ready at the same time! The beach is close and beautiful. It was a great central location for our winery tours. Jason was very friendly and great to work with from Day 1. I hope to make it back again!

Great place for kids

This place is perfect if you have kids. The bedrooms are large enough and it is nice to have seperate rooms to relax in. THe kitchen was well stocked and there were enough towels and linens for everyone. The owner was great to work with and was very accomodating. The walk to the beach was nice and not far at all. Would be a great place in the summer- the front yard is large enough to run around.
Owner's Response: Hands down my most popular rental. Perfect for a very large family or more than one. Have already books several weeks of the summer already. Still some great spots open!
