Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Come and enjoy the spectacular views from this gorgeous multi-level townhome located blocks from Canyon Road, close to walking trails in the national forest and minutes from the Plaza. Whether relaxing in this beautiful designer decorated home complete with original artwork or enjoying the views from one of the three decks, this 2200 sq.ft. home is great for families.

The front gate opens to a private walled garden, that in turn opens to the entrance level which includes a two car garage, laundry room, large and complete gourmet kitchen, full bath with shower, large dining room and living room and two decks. The beautiful living room with kiva fireplace has a Yamaha piano and a private deck with an unobstructed view of Atalaya Peak and Sun/Moon mountains. It is furnished with cable ready television, DVD and CD players. The patio off the large dining room also provides a gas barbeque under a covered portal. The home is equipped with DSL Wireless high speed service and an evaporative air conditioning unit. This townhome will sleep 7.

Two master suites with king beds are upstairs, each with spectacular views. Both bedrooms have their own baths, one with Jacuzzi tub and dual sinks, and both are fully equipped with cable ready television, DVD and CD players. These bedrooms have large walk-in closets.

A third bedroom is downstairs from the living room/kitchen/dining room, and is furnished with twin beds, cable ready TV, DVD, and CD players. This bedroom has a library, large closet, and a private patio with beautiful and unobstructed views of the famous Eastside mountains.

This unique home is full of antiques and artwork, the baths feature hand painted tiles, beautiful slate counters, as does the gourmet kitchen. Dine at nearby award winning restaurants, visit the famous galleries on Canyon Road, and walk home to enjoy the world famous sunsets from this hilltop retreat. This multi-level residence is not for the physically handicapped.

About The Owner

We enjoy the Santa Fe atmosphere, which is far from the big city where we spend our professional lives. We are especially enthusiastic about the light in Santa Fe, which provides an environment that a painter and photographer can always enjoy. We also have a great time re-visiting beautiful places all around the city.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 1999
Why The Owner chose Santa Fe

We've been going to Santa Fe since the 1970's. It has a perfect small town atmosphere plus wonderful music(opera and chamber music)great art galleries, Indian Market in August, and very special holiday traditions. The air is clean and pure, with magnificent clouds throughout the summer months. When it does snow in winter, it usually melts quickly under the bright sun that follows each storm. Who could ask for anything more?

What makes this townhome unique

The location of our home is perfect for our tastes. We are five minutes from the best restaurants in Santa Fe,and eight minutes from the Plaza. We are located high above the Santa Fe river and look down into the tree-tops of this beautiful city. Our house is part of a small group of lovely single-family homes. Even so, except for an occasional car, it is very private and secluded. The ski basin road is nearby, hiking trails abound, and the Audubon bird sanctuary is just a few miles up the road. Wonderful day drives will take you to Taos, Ghost Ranch, Tusuque, and Georgia O'Keefe's home.

My family stayed here a little over two weeks for the Christmas holidays. The location was fantastic. The house was beautifully decorated. The owner was amazing. If we could afford it, we'd buy the house right next door. My son said, "This was the best trip ever!"

My family and I stayed here for a week in June
2009. It is an amazing place to stay and you won't
want to leave. It is located close to Canyon Road
and in walking distance to town. 6 of us stayed
very comfortably in this beautiful home. My
husband and I stayed in the master suite and it was
a suite. We had our own deck off the bedroom with
a table and chairs where we could have our
breakfast and watch the sun rise. The room was
huge and magnificently decorated with a walk in
closet. The bathroom was a double sink bath and
through another door was the jacuzzi and the
bathroom area. We could hear the cyotes howling
at night even though it is a very populated area.
That was so awesome! The entire houses beauty is
hard to describe. The house was amazingly
furnished and decorated with impeccable taste.
The only drawback is that it's hard to leave to
sightsee because you just want to stay in all day.
The owner could not have been nicer and was
extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to
stay here again.
