South Haven, Michigan is a great destination for a family vacation in that it offers something for everyone. The town has been a destination for tourists for over a century due to specifically it's beautiful beaches. The key to choosing the right beach house is one with direct access without having to climb up and down huge sand dunes, bluffs, cliffs or endless staircases. Our home is located directly across the street from the Woodman Street beach and is less than a one minute walk to the beach. There is a gentle slope down to the beach which is easy for children and adults of all ages to walk down to the water. Bring your beach chair and a good book. Leave the cell phone and lap top back home. Enjoy! Two hour drive from Chicago. Approximately three hour drive from Detroit.

Beautiful house in great location

We stayed at this house for a long weekend. The house was beautiful. It was very clean and modern. The bathrooms were stunning. We took advantage of the big porch and great balconies. The location to both Woodman and North beaches was great. It's also in walking distance to the town.

This house was just perfect for our "girls" weekend away...lots of room, beautiful furnishings and very convient location. We were able to walk to town in about 10 mins, lovely easy walk...town has everything we needed, shops, resturants, beaches and nightly entertainment.

I've rented this lovely huge home as part of a Healthy Living Weekend Retreat I put on annually. What a spectacular home this is. All the attendees who stayed appreciated the quality and decor. Aside from the beauty of the home itself, it is the proximity to the fabulous beach, sunsets, lighthouse, riverwalk, downtown, and Stanley Johnson park that makes a stay really memorable. Having such a well-appointed kitchen was ideal for my objectives.
People who like the finer things will definately appreciate this rental.
