Dancing Bear, with views of Bald Mountain, dances in the trees a short walk to the Rumbling Bald Resort Golf and Spa amenities. Golf, kayak, dine by the lake or unwind and relax on the deck with family and friends. Enjoy one of the many activities planned by the resort (tubing, nature hikes, shopping) or spend a day by the Resorts pools. Late afternoons and evenings are a great time for miniature golf, tennis, bocce, or volley ball. Tee-times at the two championship courses, Bald Mountain and Apple Valley can be made by calling the club house from the house or dropping by after breakfast at the clubhouse. Enjoy.

Our Mountain Home is located in the beautiful Lake Lure Resort. This region of the Blue Ridge Mountains is in an isothermal belt so the summer months are cooler and the winter months are mild. Centrally located among many tourist destinations -- Chimney Rock, Bat Cave, Asheville, Flat Rock, Black Mountain, and Saluda -- day trips abound!! You can enjoy both outdoor and indoor activities in addition to hundreds of shopping excursions. There are natural water slides, water falls, art galleries, theaters, carved bears, boating, fishing, apple festivals, and much more.
