Villa Del Mar offers a true tropical getaway! BEACHFRONT in a stand of coconut palms and tropical gardens on 5 miles of pristine undeveloped beach. A protected sea turtle nesting habitat, our soft sand beach is perfect for swimming and is considered one of the best surfing spots on the coast. Canoes and sea kayaks are provided for exploring the adjacent estuary and to view migratory sea birds and other wildlife. Longboard-style surfboards and boogie boards are also provided. The villa features hand-crafted Mexican furnishings and Central American artifacts, showcased under a soaring 20 foot palapa ceiling, creating an ambiance that reflects the villa's serene setting. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped. Each of the four bedrooms opens to a beach facing patio.

Villa Del Mar is located on the beautiful Nayarit coast, a scenic hour and a half drive north of Puerto Vallarta at Playa Las Tortugas. “Riviera Nayarit' is largely undeveloped and is being carefully planned to ensure the natural resources are protected. Our 5 mile stretch of pristine undeveloped beach is designated as a protected sea turtle nesting habitat, where, in season, guests can witness this magical nightly event or take part in nighttime baby turtle releases! Our adjacent natural salt water estuary is home to thousands of migratory birds and other wildlife. The nearby villages reflect the spirit of Mexico's charm, where locals farm the rich soils for the produce and tropical fruits they sell at local markets and roadside stands, as well as markets displaying locally made handicrafts. Nearby excursions include a spectacular waterfall, Indian ruins, and a wildlife river boat ride.

The location was fantastic. Very secluded and right on the beach. The sunsets were great every day! The beach is clean with great soft sand.
Bring insect repellent during the summer and make sure you have all the food and stuff you need before you get there. Stores are not near by!
The house was clean and well maintained.

Make sure to look for turtles !
