I spent a week in Westport at Gil's place in July 2009 and had a fantastic time. The accommodations were great, plenty of space, beautiful views and perfect distance to many things. Highly recommended.

Riverfront cottage minutes away from ocean

My family has rented this cottage for a week's stay for the past three years. We all have enjoyed our visits at this comfortable and very well maintained cottage. The deck is so pleasant to sit out and enjoy the beautiful river views and sunsets. The children have enjoyed swimming in the Westport River, which is right in front of the cottage. The ocean(Horseneck Beach + Gooseberry Neck) and wildlife sanctuary(Allen's Pond) are all only a five minute drive away. There are walking trails along the ocean, and many people enjoy bike riding along the many country roads in the area. There are restaurants, shopping, and a variety of activities available for all ages in Westport, Dartmouth, New Bedford, and Fall River. I would highly recommend this cottage rental.
