Located only two hours northeast of Atlanta, this luxury cabin backs up to the National Forest offering great seclusion for that vacation get away. Only 8 miles away from Hiawassee, Ga and Lake Chatugue, and only 21 miles from Bavarian Helen, GA, where restaurants, shopping, golf, fairs, and many activities await you. Minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Brasstown Bald Mountain, Unicoi and Vogel State Parks. Cabin includes 2 great rooms, each with a stone fireplace. Lower level offers kitchenette, pool table, game table, and hot tub outside. We invite you to enjoy our home away from home.

The loft adjoins the master suite and also has satellite TV and DVD player and would work very well with a couple that have children that they want close to them. The loft would share 1 of the full baths There are two great rooms, each with a stone fireplace. The lower level is complete with the second great room with stone fireplace, bedroom and bath, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, The pool and game tables are located on this level. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining area has six chairs, and there are two bar stools at the breakfast bar. The covered porches have seating areas. There is a fire pit outside with plenty of wood. In addition, there is a 5-person hot tub on the lower deck.

The perfect getaway!: Luxurious appointments and furnishings perfect for three couples or families with 3-level living. Each level has its own bedroom and bath, and there are two great rooms with stone fireplaces. In addition, the lower level has a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a pool table and game table to enjoy in the cozy lower level. A 5-person hot tub will relax you after a day hiking in the mountains. The large porch wraps around on three sides and the front and back are covered. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia can be viewed from the front porch. The fire pit is a perfect gathering place at the end of the day for star-gazing and Smores.

Lots to do!: Nearby Bavarian Helen, Georgia offers something for everyone. The Historic Sautee-Nacoochee Valley offers arts and crafts and the monthly production of 'Evening Star.' The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee features year-round activites, festivals, and concerts. Lake Chatuge and the Hiawassee River are perfect for fishing and water activities. The Appalachian Trail for hiking is only three miles away, and there are several State Parks nearby with hiking and waterfalls.

What a beautiful home! It's in a great and private location with a fantastic view of the mountains. A great home for 2-3 couples or for family with children, everthing is there for fun, just bring your clothing and food! We enjoyed the pool table,home theater system and wireless internet, all the comforts of home! Very reasonably priced. We can't wait to return to Bear Ridge! Thanks for allowing us into your wonderful home in the mountains!

The cabin is simply wonderful! Pictures definately do NOT do it justice! The wrap around porch is a great way to start or end your day. Beds more than comfortable...didnt want to come home to ours!! Everything clean & pristine....no bothersome neighbors.....far enough off the beaten path, but still close enough to civilization if you want to go out to dinner or whatnot. My family had a great time & cant wait to return!

THE PICTURES DON'T DO THE HOUSE OR THE VIEW JUSTICE. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. DIDN'T WANT TO COME HOME. BEEN COMING TO THIS AREA FOR 10 + YEARS AND THIS HOUSE IS THE BEST ONE THAT WE HAVE STAYED IN. LOVE THE FIRE PIT. LOVE THE VIEW. LOVE THE SURROUND SOUND, POOL TABLE, HOT TUB AND EVERYTHONG ELSE. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!
