This cabin was the perfect romantic getaway! The seclusion and magnificent surroundings blew us away! We had everything we needed and then some. From the front deck, we saw deer in the evenings and a bear!!! We will definitely be back. You (the owners) were a pleasure to work with.
The was the best vacation that I can ever remember. It was nice and peaceful. We went with another couple and we spent more time on the front porch than inside of the cabin. Everyday after being out site seeing my husband would come back to the cabin and nap on the front porch. The owners of the cabin were the GREATEST to work with. Plan to stay there again next summer! If you are thinking of visiting Blue Ridge, look no further! Very nice if you still want to be close to shops! Must visit Lake Blue Ridge and tube down the Ocoee River! I could just go on and on! REALLY LOVED MY STAY AT THIS CABIN!
How on earth will we ever jump--start ourselves after such an amazing, relaxing week! This place was everything that was described and then some! We truly cannot wait to return. It was just a couple trying to decompress from life, along with two cute little dogs. But the downstairs could have easily accommodated the rest of our large, blended family! They even have a walk-in closet that is converted into a child's room! How precious! We had lofty ideas of going to town and sightseeing, but we were honestly so comfortable here that we only made it to the orchards one day. We spent the rest of the week lounging, soaking in the hot tub, playing games and resting. The owners are amazing! We had a hard time getting the grill started. I sent one text and within minutes I had a response and a tip that fixed the problem. From the clean and comfortable home, to the gorgeous mountains and fall colors to the responsive owners, this place gets 5+ stars. Can't wait to get back
My family and I stayed here in the middle of July, and were so pleased with our entire stay! It is a very cozy, but spacious cabin, tucked back from the street. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, each with their own bathroom (although only one bedroom had a TV at the time of our stay which was a bit of a letdown). The living room and kitchen are great for the whole family to cozy in for some dinner and a movie. The cabin was also only a 20 minute drive to downtown blueridge, and about 30 minutes from the Ocoee Water Center for some white water rafting. The owners went above and beyond when we had an issue with the hot tub. He was constantly in touch with me, and had someone out there the day we arrived to have it fixed. He also stayed in touch during the remainder of our stay to make sure all was well, and took the time to suggest a lot of fun things to do in the area. They are wonderful to work with, and really give you personal attention! The decks are big, with chairs to sit out. And the jacuzzi was wonderful. We even had fun using the pool table! Overall, this is a wonderful cabin at a very affordable price and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a nice private getaway in blue ridge!
This mountain cabin was everything we hoped and more. It was a short drive up the mountain from the lovely town of Blue Ridge. We had grandparents that enjoyed the main floor master, the porch and pool table with the kids. The teenagers were happy with plenty of beds, the hot tub and pool table. We saw deer every day, (A big Buck, momma and baby) it was amazing. Took the train from Blue Ridge for a nice family day outing. We took a day to drive to Helen, GA (@90 mins away) for a nice stroll around the German Alpine village/town, where we had a fabulous German lunch (much more touristy than we remember, we honeymooned here 22yrs ago) The guys did a tubing adventure while the girls relaxed at the cabin. The cabin was clean, well furnished, and plenty of room and bathrooms for large group (8) We cooked many big family meals in the well-furnished kitchen. There was plenty of linen, towels (we did bring beach towels for hot tub) and nice beds/bedding. The only issue was old pool table was for fun, not for a serious player as the space around table too tight for shooting, but it was all about having fun, so not a big deal.
The owners, Ram & Rebecca were wonderful. They were in contact before and available to text for any questions, promptly responded and were helpful and pleasant to deal with. It was like being given keys to an uncle's big family cabin, to enjoy as our home and we loved the simple, clean, cabin in the woods for our family get-together!!
If you want a truly amazing experience; German restuarant in Jasper,GA (45min. south) The Woodbridge Inn!! Our kids said it was "the best food", from appetizers, to Schnitzel or Trout, with desserts that was flamed at table! Everone loved this place, truly a wonderful dining experience to remember!!
We were so lucky to book this home the morning of our spur of the moment weekend getaway. Even though the website was down for making reservations the homeowners we overly accommodating in allowing us to pay via paypal. Furthermore I lost the directions and they text them to us on the way there. Everything was clean, everything worked great, and it was easy to get in and out of. Far enough away from civilization to enjoy the piece and quiet, but still close enough to get to the restaurants and stores. Great price and all in all a perfect stay.
My son's and I spent the MLK weekend at Serenity. The place was cozy and it was the perfect size for us. it was easy to find and accessible via paved roads. This wasn't the fanciest cabin but it was a great value to the price. Honestly, what made me like it the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner (Ram) leading up and during our stay. He was responsive to my questions and very thoughtful and caring. I give our weekend away a 10. :)
The cabin is located ten minutes from the mountain town of Blue Ridge, GA. Large bodies of water in the area include Lake Blue Ridge, and Toccoa and Ocoee Rivers.
