50 Acres of Island Tranquility:
Situated on Whidbey Island with splendid views of Saratoga Passage and Mt. Baker, Willow Pond Lodge is perfect for that family reunion, company retreat or weekend getaway. Our lodge is an exceptional private residence and includes 4 ponds, a small lake, dense forests with meandering foot paths, and open meadows. Deer and rabbits can be seen while eagles soar on the air currents above.
The fully furnished lodge is designed in a contemporary Northwest style with each room being unique. With a huge timber beam ceiling, a massive stone fireplace, and numerous windows that bring the outdoors in, it is the essence of the best of Pacific Northwest island life.
The living room is over 1300 square foot and is divided into intimate seating areas or can be earranged for larger gatherings. There is even a Steinway baby grand piano. The lodge has 4 bedrooms and a detached guest-house. The fully equipped kitchen is a large open space that is ideal for cooking while entertaining.

The Lodge has four bedrooms and a detached guest house. The main dining table is an enormous piece of soid wood that can seat up to 16 people. The breakfast table will seat 8. An additional table in the living room can seat 6 more so there are many choices for flexible dining arrangements. The kitchen is well furnished and large enough for multiple chefs.
Whidbey Island is blessed with both a beautiful location and a pleasant climate. Located in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, it gets a lot less precipitation than Seattle. The island has numerous beaches, public parks, hiking trails, and bike routes. Whale watching, kayaking and sailing are some of the water activities. There are lakes and public pools for swimming during the summer.
For exploring, the island has wineries, farmers' markets, art galleries, and antique stores. The nearby communities of Langley, Freeland, Greenbank, and Coupeville offer many diversions and shopping opportunities.
Corporate Retreats, Family Reunions, Workshops:
Willow Pond Lodge and its sister property, the Lake House are an ideal setting for retreats and workshops. The Lodge is suitable for small groups of up to 15 people and the Lake House can sleep up to 20. The Lake House is equipped with a wireless internet connection. The Lake House's barn / conference center is able to accommodate a larger group- up to 60 people (for day time participants) in either a seated, lecture hall format or at round tables and chairs. The space is well suited for presentations and conferences.
The facilities at Willow Pond have been the host for countless workshops and retreats of various sorts including: corporate seminars, conferences, hobby workshops, and yoga / meditation retreats. The quiet, rural setting enhances whatever is the focus for your workshop or retreat.
