An evening bar/ restaurant offers a Half Board option and also has varied entertainment. The Reception can offer money exchange, arranging car rental and trips to the islands tourist attractions.

Air Conditioning

The resort of El Marques is commencing the installation of Air Con in the apartments from the 24th September. Work is scheduled to be finished by December 2013 and operational from January 2014.

I had booked this villa unseen (apart from a few photos on the web) and hoped it would be as nice as it looked. We were not disappointed, the villa was every bit as nice as the photos. It was clean and well maintained - we had a couple of issues (one with a kettle not working and one with a blown shower head) which were dealt with promptly and with no fuss by the reception staff, who were very helpful with everything we asked. The pool was never too crowded and it was lovely to be able to sit at the restaurant tables whilst the children (11,12 & 14) played in the pool. The meals in the restaurant were lovely and we had some evenings where we ate elsewhere in Los Gigantes also some lovely meals (although we went to a creperie which was a little disappointing - obviously tinned food!) We visited Siam Park, La Gomera and had a boat ride out of the harbour on Flipper Uno - all of which were lovely days out.
I would highly recommend this villa to anyone and the resort was just to our liking , although maybe not suited to those who wish to go clubbing every night.

The nearby village of Los Gigantes is dominated by the incredible blue-grey cliffs which tower above the resort, giving the village its name - 'The Giants' - providing a spectacular backdrop. The village is only 10 minutes walk away from El Marques and has a wide range of shops, first class restaurants and attractive sea-front cafe bars.
