Bretton Woods has been expanding and is now NH's largest ski area. Home of Olympian Bode Miller. Say hello to him on the slopes. Our house is right on the ski trail. Ski on, ski off.
marker not accurate: note, homeaway's map is not accurate.
the owner cannot move the marker to the exact location of the property so the marker is probably a mile or two off, as our house is right on the mountain, slopeside. these websites need to get their acts together for accuracy. You would think that a company that can afford a Super Bowl ad could at least make their map work correctly.
Guestbook comments from the manager
You were booked the weekend we wanted so you advised we do your low price special and stay Sunday through Wednesday.
we did just that and it was a heck of a bargain compared to weekend rates.
In addition to saving money though is the fact the slopes were not crowded at all, and the lift lines non existent.
While the lift lines on Saturdays at Bretton Woods are nowhere nearly as bad as those at Loon or Waterville Valley ski area, the Monday skiing was terrific and the slopes stayed groomed while the sun shone all day so it was not that cold and perfect for a long day of snow boarding.
We like the little restaurant at the top of the ski mountain. In fact we often stop in there several times a day for a shot of brandy, and then lunch
We're intermediate and beginner skiers so there's plenty of green and blue trails for us, though we don't yet dare to try the black diamond ones.
it's a great get away for a few days at Bretton Woods.
Doing the weekdays and letting our little kids miss a few days of school seems to be the best way to enjoy the mountain and your beautiful ski house.
