Travel up the paved 400 foot driveway to this custom-built, upscale chalet situated on the ridge of one and a half acres. Begin your vacation by taking in the lovely view from the decks and porches of this private location in the Smoky mountains of Murphy, NC. The chalet features a loft bedroom with a king-size bed, large, private screened-in porch and a private bathroom with a 72' x 40' x 29' freestanding air-bath tub for two and separate large, tiled shower. The tankless water heater ensures there is always an abundance of hot water.

The great room features a beautiful view through a wall of glass. The gas-fired stove backed by a stacked stone wall adds to the beauty of the room and the view. Additional entertainment includes a 40-inch LCD/HD TV with HD satellite service, DVD player, wireless DSL, unlimited long distance phone and much more. Wheelchair friendly with ramps. Dogs permitted. The futon can be opened to sleep two more. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout add to the ambiance of the chalet. The first floor bedroom offers sleeping for two on the daybed/trundle beds and has its own patio door leading to the front porch. TV/DVD (satellite) and DSL computer connection create your own little den. The downstairs bathroom also features an extra large walk-in shower. The fully equipped modern kitchen with Silestone counters, black granite sink, fine knives, collection of spices, bread machine, Cuisinart, utensils, etc. provides all you could need. The breakfast bar is a nice setting for a casual morning meal, or you might step outside to the screened porch and enjoy the fresh mountain air while you eat. A large gas grill provides the opportunity for cooking a delicious meal and dining 'in the woods'. This chalet provides the perfect setting for a Romantic Getaway, or just an escape from the real world..

We spend the week of Christmas here and had an enjoyable time. The cabin is awesome. Has everything you need. The kitchen is well equiped just mine at home. It is peacefully and quite here. Glad to be away for the hustle and bustle of home and work. Look forward to coming back here again. Thank you Jill.

A relaxing retreat

My husband and I were married in a private ceremony at Jill's chalet January 2010 and it couldn't have been more perfect. Jill was very helpful in answering our questions about Murphy, and even helped us locate a minister to perform the ceremony! The chalet is VERY clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to make yourself at home. If you are looking for a comfortable place to relax and rest your head, and a place to get away from a hurried life, Jill's chalet in Murphy, North Carolina is the place to go.

We truly enjoyed Jill's cabin which was an 'Escape from the Real World' for us for a weekend.....something we all really needed. We celebrated my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday and my son's 13th Birthday. Jill's lovely home is equipt with everything you need to prepare delicious and tasteful meals. Me made homemade ice cream with her electric ice cream maker to compliment our Birthday cake. We hope to visit again.
