BEACHFRONT CONDO LOCATED ON PLAYAS GEMELAS BEACH, IN PUERTO VALLARTA

Greg and Faviola have created a charming place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. I love the art work in the condo. The condo is on the side of the building, so if you look right you see the beautiful mountains and if you look left, you see the beach and ocean. The balcony has a table and chairs and it was so nice to be able to have breakfast looking out over the ocean.

There is plenty of space in this condo with the living room being on the other side of the kitchen from the bedroom. It was terrific having the two bathrooms and most unusual to have this in a one bedroom condo. The living room and dining room furniture were nice and the bed was soooo comfortable. There is a lot of storage and closet space and plenty of hangers (always a nice thing)! Greg and Faviola provide beach chairs and an umbrella. My husband and I bought two fun noodles and left them there for the next renters. The kitchen is fully equipped and water and ice are provided for free. I could not think of a thing that was missing!

The grounds are beautifully kept and the beach is perfect. If you want to have full loungers, you can reserve them from the front office. Loungers, tables, and umbrellas are available for all days except for holidays when the owners have first dibs. This made it good that there are chairs and the umbrella in the condo. The staff working the front desk were all helpful. There is a laundry facility right next to the office. Although there is no restaurant on site, the place next store has a restaurant and a small store. It is a quick walk from the beach or road. If you plan on being in Puerto Vallarta over New Years, do be aware that the restaurant will not be open for breakfast on New Year's Day, so stock up for your breakfast at home.

The location of the condo is perfect; being out of town means that you get lovely ocean breezes and peace and quiet. It was very easy to pick up a bus or taxi to go to town or to other places in the area. We took the bus pretty much everywhere as it is cheap (7 pesos) and easy to use. The entrance to the zoo or to Mismaloya Beach is a quick bus ride.

Just a note: Mismaloya Beach was recommended to us, but we were not impressed with it - our own private beach was much nicer! The zoo is well worth the price of admission. It is family owned and the staff from the Director down to the cleaners cares about their charges. They have a terrific breeding program and there were lots of baby tigers.

Wonderful , wonderful!! I stayed in this condo for almost 5 weeks and had a fantastic time. The condo was very comfortable and allowed for privacy in two areas so my visitors and I were not on top of each other. Each area had its own TV, bathroom and sleeping area. The kitchen is in between and fully equipped. The heated pools are a real treat and well taken care of by a friendly and competent staff. And if you prefer the ocean, Banderas Bay is just a matter of feet away. The condo owner provides beach chairs and an umbrella so you don’t even have to rent them. The views are incredible from the balcony—the ocean on one side and the jungle mountain on the other. What a breathtaking way to watch the whales play while you have your breakfast and enjoy your happy hour margarita!!! The grounds are beautiful and there is even a secret garden where you can quietly read your book, meditate or perform your yoga routine. It is great fun to take the bus to the romantic zone for dinner. It costs less than a dollar for a roller coaster ride down the hill that takes about 15 minutes. Of course, there are so many outstanding restaurants that I wouldn’t attempt to try to name them. This condo is what I would describe as a down home Mexican comfy and clean condo which is what I want on a relaxing vacation. I absolutely loved my time at Playas Gemelas and plan to return there again and again. Thank you very much, Greg and Faviola!!!!

We rented this condo for a family vacation in February. The setting was superb. The condo is located right on Playas Gemelas Beach which is gorgeous, uncrowded and safe. The owners and staff were very helpful. We appreciated that the complex was located in a quite, pristine setting but only a short drive away from the city of Puerto Vallarta. The Condo is very convenient to Mismaloya and the rest of the Mexican Riviera.
Here are a few highlights:
-Balcony was on the side of the building and the view was great with daily sightings of humpback whales.
-Snorkeling off the beach was superb with many tropical fish and small swells.
-Kids enjoyed the beach, body surfing and jumping from pool to pool.
-Condo residents were friendly and take great care of the complex.
-Clean, comfortable and safe accomodtions including a lifeguard on the beach.
- The restaurant on the beach was excellent, convenient and a great place to watch the sun set and whales.
- The room was comfortably furnished, well equiped and very clean.
- These accomodations are a great value and exceeded our expectations!
