We Loved It !

My wife, myself, our three young girls (6, 9,11) and Grama spent two weeks in Coconut Grove for the March break. Coconut Grove is a very private, beautiful development. The grounds are immaculate and the pool amazing. The condo itself is luxurious and has every amenity imaginable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and very well appointed - picture the nicest hotel room you have ever stayed in. The outdoor shower is a great feature.
During our stay we checked out almost every bay on the south and west side of Maui, in search of the best snorkelling and at the end of it all we all decided that, Kapalua Bay, was the best. For swimming, it's great too, but Napilli Bay, NEXT DOOR is a little calmer. And if you want to see some big Green Sea Turtles, venture over the rocky shore at the south end of Napilli Bay and you will find a bay full of them. Go later in the afternoon when they come in to feed. One day, when we were there snorkelling, a sea lion was laying around resting on shore. Coconut Grove was perfectly situated for us. Some of the most beautiful vistas on the island are a very short drive north. The town of Lahaina is a short 15 minute drive south; for all the action that Maui has to offer. The best golf on the island is right in your backyard and its a three minute walk to a great tennis facility- which we used often. There is a walking path along the ocean that we enjoyed everyday. And as well there is lots of great dining within walking distance. We have travelled to many nice places before but almost every day at least one of the kids ask "when can we go back to Coconut Grove?"
