Two Pre-Civil War log cabins combined and completely restored make up this 3600 plus square feet, 4 Bedroom, 5 Bathroom (sleeps 21) Waterfront Home on Guntersville Lake. Furnished with antiques and all the amenities you could want in a vacation home. Master has one queen bed, wood burning fireplace, TV with a DVD/VHS private bathroom with antique claw foot tub. Two bedrooms each with two double beds, bunk room with built-in bunks for 8, play area. Two story family room has a beautiful wood burning rock fireplace that goes from floor to ceiling. Fully furnished gourmet kitchen with honed granite countertops, JennAir gas cook top stove, microwave, crock pot, coffee pot, extra ice-maker in the playroom downstairs. Under deck is a gas grill and a charcoal grill. Laundry facilities, iron, ironing board and vacuum all furnished. Hardwood flooring and ceramic tile baths and laundry. Linens are provided. Dock up to 6 boats. Parking for lots of cars. Central heat and air. **High Speed Internet

Located only 45 mins. from Huntsville, Alabama. We are a lakefront property on Lake Guntersville. Many sport and leisure activities are in close proximity to Two Cabins Lodge. Guntersville Boat Mart has boat rentals by the hour or by the day. Fishing is always great on Lake Guntersville, you can even arrange for a guided fishing trip. Golfing is great in Guntersville and the surrounding areas. Gunters Landing; Guntersville State Park; The Trails at Hampton Cove, Robert Trent Jones in Huntsville and Silver Lakes in Anniston; and Goose Pond in Scottsboro are all just a short drive away. Cathedral Caverns is one of the most beautiful caverns in the Eastern United States and offers daily-guided tours. There is horseback riding, walking trails, parks and public lake beaches all less than 10 minutes drive. Downtown Guntersville offers small town charm, with lots antique, gift and specialty shops. And if it’s bargain shopping you enjoy, we are only about 30 minutes from the outlets in Boaz.

  • Master bath features an antique claw foot tub with a sunflower head shower. All fixtures are in fitting with the antique style of the cabin. Square apron front sinks and vintage faucets throughout all. There are bathrooms on every level and each is convenient to the bedrooms. There is even a shower and toilet just inside the basement to clean up after a day in the lake.

  • Main level Master has one queen bed, a wood burning fireplace, TV with a DVD/VHS private bath with antique claw foot tub, there is also a chair and a half that makes in to a twin size bed for little ones. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms. One has two double beds, TV with a DVD/VHS, and the other is a bunk room with built-in bunks for eight, a play area and a TV with a DVD/VHS and a game system. There is an additional bedroom in the basement that has 2 double beds and it’s own bathroom. Also in the basement is a playroom with a queen size sofa bed, over-size chair and a TV with DVD and VHS.

GREAT NEW YEAR

We are a group of high school friends (Class of 1983) that still get our families together at least twice a year. This year our 3 families stayed at Two Cabins for New Years. It was GREAT. The decor was just beautiful!!!!! Everything was so clean, and anything we could possibly need was already in the cabin. There is even talk of not going to the beach and renting Two Cabins instead this summer. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful place.

Anniversary Weeked

I have not stopped thinking about this place since we left. Our large family was fortunate enough to stay here for the week-end of my parents' 50th Anniversary. It is nothing short of breathtaking. the pefect merge of modern with 200 year old architecture is stunning. It has everything one could need, plus the very best of nature. The outdoor firepit and screened in portch were awesome, all of the furnishings inside were GREAT! We loved using the indoor fireplaces and it was perfect for our large group! Can't wait to find an excuse to go back!

Wonderful Family Get Together

Stayed at Two Cabins Lodge for a family reunion in July 2012. There were 16 of us and we had the most wonderful experience. The cabin is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Loved reading about the history of the cabin. Everything that we needed was at the cabin and in good working order. The kids enjoyed the canoes and the pool while the adults thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch. Karen was excellent to work with and I am trying to plan our next trip to go back to Two Cabins Lodge.

Great place

Just got home from our annual trip to the lake and we stayed at Two Cabins. The house was great for our group of 20. I was a little concerned about parking since we had 10 boats but we were able to park all the vehicles and had space a the dock thanks to the friendly neighbors allowing us to dock a couple of boats at their dock. Fishing was great as always. Thanks for sharing our place with us. We are already planning our trip to the lake in 2012 and Two Cabins will definately be the first place we look to reserve.
