Two Pre-Civil War log cabins combined and completely restored make up this 3600 square feet, 4 Bedroom, 5 Bathroom (sleeps 21) Waterfront Home on Guntersville Lake. Furnished with antiques and all the amenities you could want in a vacation home. Master has one queen bed, wood burning fireplace, TV with a DVD/VHS private bathroom with antique claw foot tub. Two bedrooms each with two double beds, bunk room with built-in bunks for 8, play area. Two story family room has a beautiful wood burning rock fireplace that goes from floor to ceiling. Fully furnished gourmet kitchen with honed granite countertops, JennAir gas cook top stove, microwave, crock pot, coffee pot, extra ice-maker in the playroom downstairs. Under deck is a gas grill and a charcoal grill. Laundry facilities, iron, ironing board and vacuum all furnished. Hardwood flooring and ceramic tile baths and laundry. Linens are provided. Dock up to 6 boats. Parking for lots of cars. Central heat and air. ***High Speed Internet.

Located only 45 mins. from Huntsville, Alabama. We are a lakefront property on Lake Guntersville. Many sport and leisure activities are in close proximity to Two Cabins Lodge. Guntersville Boat Mart has boat rentals by the hour or by the day. Fishing is always great on Lake Guntersville, you can even arrange for a guided fishing trip. Golfing is great in Guntersville and the surrounding areas. Gunters Landing; Guntersville State Park; The Trails at Hampton Cove, Robert Trent Jones in Huntsville and Silver Lakes in Anniston; and Goose Pond in Scottsboro are all just a short drive away. Cathedral Caverns is one of the most beautiful caverns in the Eastern United States and offers daily-guided tours. There is horseback riding, walking trails, parks and public lake beaches all less than 10 minutes drive. Downtown Guntersville offers small town charm, with lots antique, gift and specialty shops. And if it’s bargain shopping you enjoy, we are only about 30 minutes from the outlets in Boaz.

  • August 1 to November 1 Fall Rates
    $1950 per week; or $400 per Day / 2 Day minimum
    November 2 to February 28 Winter Rates
    $1550 per week; or $350 per Day / 2 Day minimum
    March 1 to June 1 Spring Rates
    $2150 per week; or $425 per Day / 3 Day minimum
    June 2 to July 31 Summer Rates $3100 per week; or $500 per Day / 3 Day minimum
    9% Lodging Tax applied to Rental $225.00 Cleaning fee.
    $500.00 Reservation fee and Security deposit. Due at the time of
    reservation. ($50.00 service fee for all cancellations).
    The security deposit will be refunded within the 2 weeks after you check out, providing no damage to the property is found.
    All fees must be paid 10 days prior to arrival.
    If you cancel less than 15 days prior to arrival, your $500
    reservation fee will be forfeited.

  • Master bath features an antique claw foot tub with a sunflower head shower. All fixtures are in fitting with the antique style of the cabin. Square apron front sinks and vintage faucets throughout all. There are bathrooms on every level and each is convenient to the bedrooms. There is even a shower and toilet just inside the basement to clean up after a day in the lake.

  • Main level Master has one queen bed, a wood burning fireplace, TV with a DVD/VHS private bath with antique claw foot tub, there is also a chair and a half that makes in to a twin size bed for little ones. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms. One has two double beds, TV with a DVD/VHS, and the other is a bunk room with built-in bunks for eight, a play area and a TV with a DVD/VHS and a game system. There is an additional bedroom in the basement that has 2 double beds and it’s own bathroom. Also in the basement is a playroom with a queen size sofa bed, over-size chair and a TV with DVD and VHS.

Notes: The renovation of Two Cabins Lodge has taken us about a year and half so far and there are still some projects in the works. We have now completed our dock and have begun work on our landscape. We anticipate adding a hot tub in the very near future. There is plenty to do and with a public boat launch within view of the backyard, water sports are available to you. We have lots of board games and videos for rainy days and horseshoes and croquet for those days in the sun. We have just added High Speed Internet connections. All linens are provided and there is also a washer and dryer in the laundry room for your convenience. WOW! What a beautiful cabin!
I felt like I was a part of history and longed for the
slow paced life of times gone by. The owner did an
excellent job of blending the new with the old. I can
not wait to go back for another visit. I highly

Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for our annual office retreat. We have held these retreats in places as far as Vegas all the way to the Ritz in Atlanta - your home was our favorite! The view, the decor, the history, the luxurious bedding...every detail was taken care of. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to stay at a piece of heaven on earth to stay at Two Cabins Lodge. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Two Cabins Lodge is awesome!! The pictures can't convey how special it is. The investment of love and planning that went into this home is very evident. It is warm and welcoming and beautiful. We are so glad that we were able to spend our family time there - it is VERY special!!

We spent the most wonderful time of our lives in your wonderful lodge. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with 2 out of 3 children and spouses, 3 out of 4 grandchildren and 6 out of 8 great grandchildren, plus my sister and her husband and a good friend. There was 20 of us and we all felt totally at home, but yet amazed by the cabin. I especially enjoyed the kitchen since I am a gourmet cook and am teaching my 13 year old granddaughter to cook. The guys enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught more than they did when they rented the pontoon boat. Your furnishings and appliances are top of the line. The decor is restful and astonishing at the same time. Our favorite room, of course, was the kitchen with the screened porch running a close second. The kids made s'mores by the fire. A wonderful time was had by all and we hope we can return sometime soon. Phyllis & Chuck Speaker July 17,18 19
